Good quality robe. Good quality natural fiber fabric. Fabric texture is on the rougher side, but will likely soften a bunch after washing. The fabric is thicker than I was anticipating... which is fine, it's still lightweight, but i was hoping for an even lighter weight fabric than this for wearing in the super hot summertime heat. The sleeves on the robe are to my elbows, which isn't what i thought i was ordering... i thought i was ordering a robe with true short sleeves...But that one is on me for not looking closer at the pictures... this is a 3/4 sleeve robe. This is a very nice robe. And i absolutely love the way it ties... the top half of the body stays securely covered at all times because of the design of the robe. ...but the skirt portion of the robe needs to be more flared/A line in shape... when i sit down normally, the bottom of the robe opens up pretty far, and that very greatly reduces the amount of movement that can be done while still maintaining relative modesty, which i am really not a fan of. That is the biggest negative about this robe for me. ...granted... other robes do tend to have the same issues... Not enough flare to the skirt to allow for maintaining modesty with movement... or just not enough fabric overlap for maintaining modesty. I also am not very fond of how high the neckline is on this robe. All in all, this is a great product! But it isn't quite what i was looking for, for my specific needs. I would definately recommend this robe to others though! High quality garment! Quality: Good Fit: Skirt portion doesn't have enough flare and/or fabric overlap, in my opinion. I ordered a Japanese style side tie kimono robe. What I received is a regular front close, two pocket robe (see attached photo). While I love the cotton/linen material and the color if fine, I failed to notice that it must be line dried, which means it will shrink and I should have ordered a large size instead of the medium. So if you want a side tie kimono robe look elsewhere. Update: The seller contacted me immediatly and said they were sorry about the mix up and would send me the correct robe or a refund. I chose the robe and am axiously waiting to receive it. Even though the info on Amazon says the robe is hand wash and line dry only, the care instruction tag sewn on the robe says to wash gentle cycle and tumble dry low. I did as instructed and the robe came out beautifully with no shrinkage. The robe is also well contructed, sewn and finished. I really like the cotton /linen blend. Bravo to the seller for great customer service and a great product. 7/25/2025 Update: See photo of the side tie robe which I like to wear loosely tied. This robe is very well made and looks great; however, it is very, very small. I ordered an Extra Large but his is more like a US Medium. It is very tight in the shoulders and arms. It is also very short. Be advised!

This is the best robe I’ve ever had. The material is perfect. The length is as short as it can be without being indecent. I love the kimono sleeves. I’ve tried to order two more and both failed to ship and got refunded. I would love to buy more of this item. Unfortunately, the seller seems to be running into Trump tariff problems. ... show more

Soft thickish natural fabric, warmish but breathable. Ties closed inside and out, so nothing slips out on display. I recommend the largest size as it fits just fine and I am petite. Planning on using this for upcoming hospital stay late summer. Very good quality.

arrived June 23, long before anticipated date. I was told it was held up in customs but still, it's here early and it's beautiful. I'll probably never toss it in the washer, as the fabric is so beautiful. the photos online didn't do it justice. The price was nice, and the garment is gorgeous.
