I was looking for something that would be soft on my feet for a hardwood floor. Also, I tend to sit on the floor a lot to play with my cats, and the indoor/outdoor sea grass rug I had was rather hard and sometimes painful, especially on the knees . This is definitely not that way. The colors in this are great for my room. The carpet is indeed silky smooth and soft in terms of texture. It’s more like a velour, microfiber, or or heavy blanket than a carpet. It has a no rubbery no stick backing, but no padding. I purchased a felt pad to put underneath it which has really helped. Without a pad this is gonna be rather hard under tour feet. That added to the cost of an “rug” that is already over priced in my book, which is why I’m giving it four stars. It can be put into a large washing machine. That would explain the lack of padding. The idea is that you can wash it easily with animals or children making a mess. I will wait and see how well this stands up to my cats. They liked to scratch at the seagrass rug. I am pretty sure that the creases and folds that are in it will work their way out as it airs out and lays down. And by the way, there is no odor to this at all, so it won’t be a problem for people who are sensitive to outgassing of new products.. It shows up folded in a box.

i’ve been through 3 rugs in the living room. they all either were too small, too rough feeling, or held onto pet hair. this rug is SOFT and easy to vacuum. it’s also pretty good quality, i was half expecting it to be cheaply made. dog hairs don’t seem to get stuck into the fibers, and the brown pattern should hide eventual stains. it says it’s machine washable, but from my experience washing rugs they shrink/never lay flat after you wash them. ((if i had to wash this i would take it outside and spray it down w the hose and hang it to dry.))

I was so surprised when this rug came in a square box- not what I expected at all. I was more surprised when I open it to see instructions for opening- it seems they knew a folded rug in an unexpected box would throw a lot of people off! The rug is super soft, and I bought it for a new apartment we’re working on right now. I took it out to see the size- couldn’t resist sitting on it most of the day! Very comfortable and very soft. My only complaint is it’s a lot thinner than I expected- it really just feels like walking on hard floor. It’s definitely NOT plush. But I am very happy with it, I think it’ll be easy to clean pet messes! Folding definitely seems better than rolling, the rug flattened pretty instantly. Very soft, very lovely. Can’t wait to actually use it!

I was skeptical when it arrived folded up…. But upon unpackaging, it felt soft so I laid it out on the deck in the sun to flatten while I mopped. Previously I had an ivory rug in this area of the kitchen, and with two dogs & the back door nearby, I needed something easy to clean on a busy schedule as well as something with a pattern that could hide any stains that may occur. I’m more than thrilled with the results of this rug! Comfortable on the feet, so far seems to stay put, and looks great! Fingers crossed that it cleans as easily & as nicely as claimed!

I spent a lot of time searching many sites to find a lighter colored rug to go in my dining room. I am more than pleased with this one. It is beautiful and functional. I ordered the 8x10 and in no way would that fit in anything except a commercial washer. That said, I think it would spot clean really well. The material and feel of the rug is exceptional considering the price. I tend to swap out rugs for the season and wanted something with Fall colors and a touch of gray to go with my walls, and this is perfect. The rug still looks a little wavy since putting it down last week but not terribly noticeable.

These rugs are simply amazing. Bought one for our utility room (peach/gold 4x6) and it was so beautiful, so soft to walk on barefoot (like velvet!), so thin and flexible to make it easy to put in the washer yet lays totally flat with no wrinkles and does not slide around, we've never seen anything quite like them. Immediately ordered another one for my mom's bedroom (apricot/blue 4x6). Will be ordering more for the other rooms in the house as soon as I can decide which patterns and colors to choose! Colors and patterns are gorgeous; subtle and muted not garish at all with a sort of glowing lightness to them at the same time, hard to describe but if you order one you will see what I mean! If you want an overall dark rug this may not be for you, I will tell you though I have been rolling over them in a rolling stool a lot that I use to get around as I'm disabled (very easy to do with how thin they are and flat they stay which was a concern for us too) and they have not picked up any marks at all, spilled a bit of coffee and it wiped right off without having to wash the whole rug. I can't think of a single thing to improve about these rugs, truly! I'm even thinking of hanging one as a tapestry wall hanging, they are that beautiful!

I have only had this rug for a few days, but so far I love it! It is so soft, and the colors are exactly what I was looking for. It is a thin rug, but I was not looking for a thick one. It has a nonslip backing. The rug will arrive, folded, not rolled, and the wrinkles came out in one day. This rug was a perfect choice for my space because it’s a high traffic area and my dogs like to lay on it. I haven’t tried to wash it yet. I would definitely buy this product again. I bought the turmeric and gold 5x7.
