The media could not be loaded. I did these for the first time tonight. It took me 4 hours (I know because I watched the Barbie movie and Mr and Mrs smith while I did them lol). I didn’t mind because I expected it to take a long time as I’ve never done anything more than press-ons before. I followed the directions included and also watched a couple YouTube videos. The first hand took 2.5 hours and by the time I got to the second hand it took 1.5 hours. I did do each nail individually which I recommend until you get a good handle on how to do it. Next time I will put the foundation all my fingers and cure all at once, then fill the dual forms at all once, then put them on my nails and cure all at once. But I do not recommend you do this the first time. I did learn some tips and tricks! First, I didn’t like the slip solution that came with it. I used rubbing alcohol. It worked great and evaporates quickly even if you use a bit too much. Second, get the finger clips. They’re like $6 and worth it. Get a pack that comes with the salon type nail clipper because if you use regular clippers the whole tip of the nail you just spent all that time doing will break right off. Third, get nail forms. By far the most difficult part for me was getting the undersides to not be an inch thick. Using nail forms in addition to the dual forms will give you perfect nails. I might soak these off and have another go when my nail forms get here. I got a nail drill so I could clean up the undersides of my nails but it takes too long and is less than comfortable. Nail forms! Just do it. Using the including curing lamp I did two button presses on top and then two button presses with the undersides of my nails exposed to ensure the bottom cures. If you don’t they will be a bit soft. I also will get a larger curing lamp that will accommodate my whole hand. All in all I’m very happy with this purchase and look forward to perfecting my polygel skills.

Honestly I love Beatles polygel as well their top coat and base coat. Even the beginner drill will get the job done. However the nail lamp provided isn't really strong enough to fully cure some polygels. If it came with a better nail lamp I would have given this four stars but for the price and the lamp that you receive it's definitely kind of a letdown because if you can't cure the polygel fully then you can't really enjoy your nails.

I don’t know if it’s Good for beginners. The gel itself is very sticky and barely glues to the nail even with the base coat and stays on the tube :( the gel is super transparent so I have to paint the nails another color & the UV lamp stopped working after using it for only 2 sets and I didn’t like the nail forms it came with so I bought some somewhere else. I take too much time trying to work with these but I make them work.
