All of the swatches in the photos had 2 coats, which didn't surprise me for the darker colors but even the yellow was perfect after only two. Brilliant velvet: π π π π As for the 'brilliant velvet' cat eye polish set, while I love the colors and think they are very pretty, I felt like it was difficult to get the cat eye effect. Im not sure if the magnet included just isn't strong enough, or if the gel polish is too thick, but getting the magnetic particles to move around wasnt happening as easily as it should have... or as well as some other brands. It isn't awful or anything, just not quite a 5 star set. Still, considering the price, it wasnt a terrible purchase. Also, this set has the black plastic bottles that I mentioned before. So, lesser quality in that regard.

Colors are pretty and true to the pictures, bottles are a bit small, I might have done something wrong but the glitter doesn't move as much as I hoped with the magnet, just kinda looks like a standard glitter polish, still pretty though. And I also found out I had to wipe the top sticky layer off with alcohol after curing.

The colors are gorgeous, and I love that there were two sides to the magnet so I could be more/less precise depending on how I wanted it to look. I will say that I wish the color itself was a bit more pigmented, I didn't realize it might have needed more than one coat. But it's been over a week now and the gel has shown no evidence of peeling or chipping. The bottle sizes are the same as all of my other Beetles polishes, which is a standard nail polish bottle. I can't wait to experiment with these more!

Gorgeous color! This is the best magnetic gel polish I have found so far. The colors are brilliant and using my special shaped magnets was so easy with this gel. It definitely last 7 days, that is my maximum time before I change colors again, but it may last longer. Highly recommend if you are looking for beautiful, bright colors that are easy to manipulate with a magnet.

The Beetles Cat Eye Gel Nail Polish Set has some really beautiful and unique shades. The shimmer and magnetic effect can look amazing when done right, especially under the right lighting. I love the variety in the set, and the polish is long-lasting when used with a good base and top coat. That said, it does take some practice to get the full cat-eye effect. The magnet included could be stronger, and sometimes the design doesn't stay as sharp after curing. Also, the formula is a little thick, so applying thin, even layers is key to avoiding streaks. Overall, itβs a good set for the price, especially if you like experimenting with nail art. Just be patient and give yourself time to get the technique down!
