I've been wanting to buy something like this for my cats for a while and this was a great choice because all of my cats absolutely love them! I bought a compressed catnip ball from the petstore before but im guessing it wasn't the best quality because my cat didn't take much interest in it but I stuck these balls on the bottom of my closet and he sits and rubs his face all over every single one of them. I bought another one for a feral cat that visits my dad's house and he just loves it he'll sit there and rub his face all over them as well. I have to say, I haven't seen any of the cats lick them yet I don't think they grasp that concept yet lol but the yellow ball has been broken off on the one I got for my cat and the one i got for the cat at my dad's house so the cats bit it off. Lol. Also, the backside sticker is good quality and haven't fallen off or anything it's all good quality and variety for felines

My cats love it. They really liked the yellow energy ball but it fell off after less than one day of use. I worry it could be a choking hazard. Anyway, my cats love the other balls. They are pretty clean. No weird smells. They spin freely. The adhesive is strong! DO NOT put it on your walls. It will pull layers off. We used a piece of 2x6 and left it on the floor for our cats.

My cats definitely like catnip, but had no interest in 3 of the 4 balls. None. Zero. Left them out attached to lower part of something they play on often, brought them over several times to show the balls to them. Nope, zero interest. The fourth ball, called "energy ball" seems to be condensed chicken or turkey flavored stuff, judging by its smell. The cats were interested in that, and tried to eat it. Since that ball had fallen off its base when I removed the plastic top, it was just a little half-sphere of hard brown stuff rolling around loose. I took it away because I wasn't sure it was edible, and anyway it was too hard to chew and I was afraid one would choke on it. Also, it is *extremely* difficult to get the clear plastic covers off the balls. But that hardly matters because once they are uncovered they're useless anyway.

Of all the purchases I bought for kitty, this one stands out. My cat is very finicky. Only likes Fancy Feast Grillers which must be chicken or salmon, and won't play with anything but string, balls, and mommy's pens/pencils., and a soft paint brush...but when I got her these lick balls, she was crazy in love with them from the moment I opened them. I put one one in the basement, one at the top of the stairway, and one in the living room. She's fond of everything but the vitamin lick ball. When I'm wondering where she is, I always find her licking one of these balls and rubbing against them and I love that it keeps her occupied when I have to go to work. I get one fresh pack of these every year to keep her happy. I give the vitamin lick ball to my husband for his cat, who seems to gravitate towards that one. since she is an older kitty. I can't recommend these enough.

... if it wasn't for the horrible, HORRIBLE stickers on the back. While they do last and are holding up strong even in a multi-cat household, they are also a nightmare to get off ... whatever you stuck it to. Stuck it to a wall, to the side of furniture, plastic, wood ... it does not come off clean and you'll have the sticky, foam-like thick glue residue on there. GooGone helps, but they should warn you that you're about to leave an ugly mark. Second time around buying this set, I used my own Command strips. That's my recommendation. If you don't care ... even better, because it is a great product. We have multiple cats and they all seem to like it. For well over a year they just hung somewhere and I'd see them having fun with it and licking. It was time to replace them and they're still a big hit. It's rare to find something for cats that they all love (all 7 of them!) for longer than a day or two. Like I said, they seem to last very long ... except for the mini yellow-ish one that's more like a thick paste once they lick it. That's superpopular and is gone within a couple hours. First come, first serve. Haha. Anyway, work on that sticker and it's a 5-star rating!
