I love beetles nail products. I have around a hundred of their gel polishes, their lamps, their gel-x nail tips, their gel glue, just tons of their products and I was only disappointed in one item. This item does not disappoint the blue is stunning. I get compliments all day long on my nail color. The first layer is like a jelly but I added two more layers and it is solid and perfect. So you have a 2 in 1 with this one. You have a regular polish and a jelly. Thye consistency is perfect like all of their gel polishes. It's not too thick or too thin. It self level just enough that you don't have an uneven application or streaks but not too much that it floods the nail beds after a few seconds, 1 to 2 layers is all you need which is the common amount, I've had this color on my nails for over a week now with no chips or lifting, I am extremely hard on my nails and constantly using them like tools (which I highly suggest you don't,) and they're still perfect. B- Sapphire Love is EXACTLY the color in the picture. I've been through at least half a dozen polishes with that color swatch that don't even come close once applied no matter how many coats I use. This one nailed it, it's exactly that perfect royal blue. It also applies easily, is smooth, and builds to an opaque color with 2 coats. I use it over Young Nails Mani-Q Fiber Gel as a base and 10 days in not a single chip. My best friend used it the same day on naked nails and also hasn't had a chip yet. I did 2 minutes under the Young Nails UV/LED curing light for each coat and it dried hard, no stickiness left after a swipe with rubbing alcohol. ... show more

Performed great under a UV lamp, dried in 30 seconds, no issues at all. Color is super super sheer though and more peachy once it’s actually applied. I needed 5-6 coats and you can still see shadows of my nail underneath. It’s cute though!! Just kind of annoying how many coats were needed.

I have been doing my own gel nails for 4 years now, and Beetles is my go to brand! I was looking for a good basic color, and I found it. It is really easy to use and lasts about 2 weeks without chipping. It has buildable coverage for your desired sheerness. This is my first time trying the Beetles Gel Nail Polish. These bright colors are out of my comfort zone but I’m working with it! The yellow reminds me of Peeps candy or the yellow plastic Easter egg. It’s translucent if you don’t apply several coats but I knew this before putting it on. This is with 3 think coats of polish and the day after I finished them. I think it’s a fun color. I used a nail dehydrator and primer first. Base coat next, 3 coats of polish and lastly top coat. I’m pleased with the results compared to other brands that I have tried. I’m hoping the other colors are a less translucent but would be okay if they aren’t. I’ll play around with them and may be looking like Punky Brewster by the time I’m done. Lol It looks like it will hold up well as long as I’m not constantly in water for long periods of time. Today is day 4 and there’s no chipping or anything so far. They still look great! I would buy again! ... show more

I absolutely love the colors (plural) Preface: I was a salon and spa owner until I retired, and my nail tech got me TOTALLY into gel polish. I now do my nails myself, and I get tired of the limited colors from OPI (my usual brand) so I took a chance on this brand. It was easy to apply, it is a little thicker than OPI so you have to be very careful not to apply it too thick. It cures like normal and for the first 2 days I was absolutely in love with the look. But UNLIKE opi, it does NOT wear well. It cracks and chips so easily, that by the 3rd day, I had to do my nails all over again! Normally, with my reg polish, I’ll get 2 weeks of wear, this didn’t last 2 days! So it might be great for a fun event, but nothing more! ... show more
