This thing works too well. 🤣. I used it under gel polish with a nice coat wait for about 5 minutes for it to dry well. Did a few coats of gel polish and few hours later, I did some dishes and most of it came off. Ok. Let me try dip powder that shouldn't come out so quickly. Did my hands with life 5 layers of dip, cured and set. By accident I was opening a can and my entire right hand thumb polish came off, like lifted off. 🤣. In a whole piece. 🤣. So, I figured the best way to use it is to put it in the middle of the nail. Not the entire nail that it can break the seal quickly. Avoid the edges of the nail. So, that your gel or polish or powder can spread over it and cover it. That should prevent the base coat from getting exposed at the edges and should prevent a fast removal.

LOVE this base coat. My friend recommended to me when I expressed difficulty growing my nails out and my base coat not protecting my nails enough to do the job. Typically what would happen is my nail polish would chip on the sides and my nail would be exposed causing it to break. Switched out my base coat for the rubber base and not only are my nails growing but minimal to no chips! My nails feel strong and safe. Mind you, I’m a relatively rough girl, heavy handed and clumsy. Super easy to apply, thick, and more flexible than the regular modelones base. Don’t judge the paint job ( I was rushing and have been too busy to change them 😂), but I’ve had these nails for almost 2 weeks and they’re still in tact! I started picking a bit at the base and *disclosure - my nails do naturally tend to grow relatively fast*. Will be attempting to remove the polish soon and will update on that process as well.
