Do NOT do your nails without this set. This is what makes my nails last the 2-3 weeks/until I choose to take them off. It just absorbs right in and only adds an extra two minutes to your nail session, but makes all the difference. The bottles are large and will last a long time. I purchased the Modelones kit and bought these after reading reviews of the kit that said the polish didn't last more than a few days and then watching some YouTube videos where people said that the key to gel polish longevity is the prep work, i.e. the dehydrator and primer. I only needed the base coat anyway but because they came in a pack for about the same price I just got both of them. But the top coat fades pretty quickly. As you can see from the picture, only part of my nail looks shiny and other parts look dull because only some of the top coat stayed on after a couple of days. ... show more

I have HORRIBLE nails. Splitting, peeling, cracked. I don’t wear powders, gels or acrylics. Just really bad nails. I have been using this for 2 weeks and I have notice my nails have stopped splitting and the peeling is less. I put it on as a base 2 coats of polish and then a gel top coat. I put it on as a top coat again 2 days later and then again 2 days later and my nails seem to be pretty strong and healthy. In summary, I would say I would rather use this then to be without it. And it makes it worth the price. I wouldn't say the results are dramatic or over-the-top, but noticeable. For the price you get a decent size bottle that should last you a while and the packaging looks fairly premium. I'm not a big fan of the brushes and how the bottles seal.
