This is just a PSA to do your research on the allergy that can happen from gel polish! Although, I was using this brand in particular, it can happen with ANY resin based polish. PLEASE, if you are doing your own nails at home, do yourself a favor and look on Tiktok, YouTube, Google "Gel Nail allergic reactions"! I made a mistake and my polish did not cure all the way and I developed a debilitating allergy to the acrylic/resin in the gel. My fingers swelled up, blistered, itched like crazy and I even developed rashes on my upper thighs, neck, and stomach. Once you have this allergic reaction, it's for life! it works great and i love the value for money. it doesn’t turn yellow at all and cures great. its not too runny either. i just wish the matte was more dull, it kinda just looks like a buffed out nail with a little bit of shine but not a deal breaker :)

Currently wearing my 2nd at home Mani with gel polish set. First time was user application error. When your don't prep your nail plate properly and apply thick layers you will get peeling at the cuticle area. Fast forward to current date (March 16,2024) my Mani has lasted for 17 days with no peeling or chipping. Just the normal grow out of my nails. There is no harsh smell, but just a little faint scent. the topcoat is so good but the peel off basecoat is kind of iffy because it honestly peels off by itself without me wanting it to peel off. I prep my nails really well like I do my cuticles and I use a dehydrator and a primer but even then the peel off base goes off within like a day or two days. I don’t know if it’s my mistake or if the peel off gel is too good at peeling off but it’s not really what I was looking for. Because I’ve heard of the Jell-O Jell-O peel off coats and those stay on a lot longer than this peel off coat. ... show more
