I gave myself a pedicure about 3 weeks ago, if not longer, and gel polish is still on! I wear closed shoes and sandals, i walk barefoot a lot, I'm always in the garden, wearing my sandals and my toe nails still look like i just got them done at a salon! I plan to buy again, with different colors then the ones i got. I really recommend this product it looks great! Mind you i did use a LED light the way it's instructed, I'm sure that's the reason it looks so good and last a long time. ... show more

It’s easy to apply and to dry you need your own uv light to use to make them dry they should really start adding one when selling these other wise it’s really good I love them

I purchased this beetles gel "Cozy Campfire" set. It was on a great sale, that I didn't want to pass up. I have previously purchased another beetles gel set called "Glamping". This set was also only sample/trial sized, colors are 0.17 oz and tops and base gels are 0.25 oz. As with the previous set I purchased the bottles are all glass, I really appreciate that. Some other trial brands I have are plastic... This "Cozy Campfire" set has beautiful colors. I love fall colors. Sadly a couple I feel would have been better as a creamy opaque base. Most of the colors in this set were very transparent and needed 3 coats to be even and consistent. The glitters were syrups/jellys and still transparent after 3 coat, but I feel looked best at 3 coats rather than 2, personal preference, see photos for example. As with the other set I purchased the color gels have a very sticky formula, they don't glide over the nail as with some other brands. That is a bit frustrating at first, but I got used to it. Sadly I had issues with the matte top coat not fully curing,even with added lamp time, just like the matte from the other beetles set I purchased. I had no issues with any of the others, they all cure in my lamp at 60 seconds. So I would recommend buying a different brand of matte gel top coat. great starter set if your new to gel, the price for quality could not be beat. I got this kit so I could save on getting my nails done. I love the colors and the simplicity of the kit. But I was scratching my leg through my jeans and my gel polished nail peeled right off. I didn't lotion my hands before, I didn't use polish remover before I utilized the gel polish. Just popped off. So, I may use the kit again ans use less of the base coat? Just be wary. Bake long enough and be sure to not over coat the nail. ... show more

Don’t mind the fingers in the photos. I wore these nails for a week so they are not as clean as they were originally. The color, thickness, opacity, and longevity of these polished are great. I love how the matte topper makes the colors look like micro-suede/ velvet. The gloss topper makes the glitters POP. Don’t use the matte on the glitter though, it looks 🤮. I was hoping it would look like my matte glitters but NOPE! Haha The color rings are showing the colors with two coats each plus either a matte or gloss topper. The toppers and base run hot so don’t get on skin and move fingers around in lamp to help cut the sensation. The base is AWESOME! I used it to secure my clear nail extensions and it holds so well. No popping off if the nails were prepped properly. I (obviously by my images) am not a nail artist or professional tech. I’m just a lazy, fat, mommy, working from home, messing with nail colors while talking with my customers on the phone during my shift. I use a Markartt 24w lamp and a Conair “Elegant Nails” e-file. I rarely use proper nail techniques, such as dehydrator, to prep my nails. The colors have lasted and I like the way they look and feel. Also, I’m new to nails so if I can do it, you can do it too. The bottles are small but that is not a complaint, just an observation. It’s such a great product for the little money I spent. I look forward to trying more products by Beetles. ... show more
