I just installed this today. I cut the panels before I installed the, it just seemed easier. There was plenty of tape, I had about 1/2 a roll left over. If you measure (and cut) accurately the fit is very snug fitting. The garage already feels warmer.

A couple of noteworthy items after installing this product. Everything you need to install the product is included: good double sided tape (although could have used more), squeegee, box cutter (a very good one). Instructions are easy to follow and are written clearly. Do yourself a favor and follow their prep instructions. My panels needed a good cleaning. I would recommend opening the box and taking the panels out a few days before you plan on doing the job. They are quad-folded and doing so will help the panels be easier to put in place. The instructions were true about the tricky part with getting the double sided tape cover off once on the doors. Working around the garage door frames isn’t easy, especially with bigger hands. I adapted by putting the tape on the edges first but still putting the tape on the upper and lower portion of the door. Get into a rhythm and keep going. I can’t yet speak to temperature changes. They’ve not been in long enough. I would get this product again.

Complete garbage. Unfortunately I bought 3 of these, spending over $500 to cover all of my panels as opposed to testing one out. The first order didn't have any double sided tape. I had to reach out to get that. It was awful to install. The tape was horrible quality. Installation took three times longer than expected. Once finished, the panels did a decent job of insulating and the garage was slightly warmer, but 3 months later, they all started falling off and apart. Do not buy!!!

Too expensive for what is it. The panels are thinner than the ones you can buy at Lowe’s for half the price. The tape is very sticky so that’s a plus. Quality just isn’t there for me. Too soon to tell if they’ll actually help regulate the temperature.
