Probably not the sturdiest knife. But it is nice and sharp. I have certainly paid more and gotten less. Considering mere mortals can't really sharpen a serrated knife, I think it is a good value. Use it 2 seasons and toss. Rotate with your filters.

I purchased this and put it in my honey house for use during honey harvest this year. Unfortunately, I took a trip out of country which delayed my harvest by about three weeks...meaning I missed the 30 day return window. I pulled the knife brand new out of the box and before I even used it once it tilted out of the handle. Only one rivet on the handle is passing through the tang holes, thus making the knife blade itself a riveting, rotating piece of metal. There is no way to attach it securely, no way to use it. The best I can hope for is I figure out how to rehandle this blade. If you purchase, use it right away. Learn from my mistake and trust you will be sold a quality item. The one sold to me is completely useless junk that was broken right out of the box. Make sure you look it over and use it within 30 days.     • Great for smaller frames, needs to be bigger for deep frames!
The knife worked great for medium and shallow frames. However, it really needs another 1-2 inches to get a good angle for uncapping the larger deep frames. Overall good price, but we will have to find a longer uncapping knife for our deep frames.
