My boyfriend and I bought this (R7-5800H 32G+500G) to act as our friend groups modded minecraft server. We're currently running "All the Mods 9" with about 5-10 heavy users (but it can definitely handle more), and I mean HEAVY. These guys were previously paying $100/mo for enough server ram to keep up with us and we have some friends who routinely try to break servers, and using other hosting sites, we'd all have to server wipe and it sucked. So far this thing is holding up perfectly! And MUCH cheaper in the long run. We're still using the included 32 ram, but I love the option to double it if our needs increase. I did have to disable the IPv6 on the internet (leaving IPv4 enabled) to set up the port forwarding to make it joinable, but that's literally the only thing we've had to mess with. (Xfinity gigabit with their modem/router, using the app to set up default port forwarding for minecraft) For some reason we had to disable it for xfinity to port forward, this might be an xfinity exclusive issue. We bought a cheap portable monitor (Amazon ASIN: B0BGXFZSQ8) for it and have it attached to the side of my boyfriends gaming tower with a USB switch for mouse and keyboard between gaming pc and this computer/server. GREAT option for a minecraft server :) Her name is Eve, our old server was Wall-E ;)

I've been a Dell guy for almost three decades. At first, I had to buy the latest Dell, then time came that I would purchase used because I didn't need the latest. A few years back, I moved into an RV and my wife and I decided to see the US. Unfortunately, Dell desktops don't fit well in an RV and I had to do something else. I started out replacing my low end quad-core machines with Stick PCs, but for the better equipment I needed a solution. Then I discovered the BeeLink line and realized that, for the money, they would fill the ticket. I'm not a gamer, and I'm betting that a serious gamer would not want something with only 8 cores and 16 GB RAM, but they are absolute heaven for my work. They are fast, capable, and I run Oracle Virtual Box on two of them to switch between development environments. Like many low-end machines, you don't want to take up more than 80% of the base resources running Oracle VB machines, but beyond they, they are perfect for my needs. The only thing I do not like is the video driver. If I have it hooked up through my KVM, it will occasionally blank out for a sec. Usually when I first open up my browser or hit a page with a video on it. Sometimes it goes completely nuts, and I have to switch to a different CPU and back. Sometimes I have to do that multiple times to get the screen back. Beyond the video issue, I have zero complaints and since I'm not a gamer, the video issue is at worst a minor annoyance. Eventually, I did switch out the cheap KVM for another slightly less cheap KVM and have almost no flicker. Perhaps a better KVM would fix it completely, but these CPUs are the only ones that show the flicker. Finally, I started using remote desktop to connect to them and since then I have nothing but high praise for my setup. About 8 months after I bought my first one (I have 3), it died. No big deal really, as I keep everything backed up locally or to the cloud. The other two were working perfectly, so I decided to try out their tech support. Much to my happy surprise, it was a no nonsense "send it in, and we'll replace it" deal that took about two weeks from sending to receiving a slightly better replacement. Currently, I have no need for more CPUs, but when the time comes, I'm definitely going to consider putting BeeLink at the top of the list. I can fit 4 Beelinks in the space that originally took up one Dell desktop.

I wanted a mini PC to use as a linux server and this PC has blown my mind in it's capabilities for it's size. I have been using it for a few months now and am extremely pleased. I was able to replace four Raspberry Pi's with this one PC and there is still a lot of room for growth. It runs quiet and cool even under load. I have not personally needed any tech support but I have found their forum where the manufacturer appears to be pretty active and responsive. I will admit I run this PC headless so I do not make use of the graphics card and thus cannot speak to that. I am sure it would be fine for normal workstation activities - but not high end gaming. Also, as I said I run linux on it but it comes with Windows 10/11 which makes the relatively low cost of the machine that much better value, if you need Windows. Using something like this PC with an external GPU would likely serve a great deal of gamers.

I had one issue and that was that contrary to the pictures and description, the unit sent to me had a DP and HDMI port instead of 2 HDMI ports. I contacted tech support and asked instead of returning could they just send me an adapter so I could hook up my second screen, they said sure! Would have been nice to get what was described but tech support made it super easy to rectify. The pc itself is fast and smooth. Win11 Pro updated to the latest feature pack and all is well. Dual screens work great. It's got a fan but i hardly hear it and its right in front of my face in front of my monitors. Assuming it lasts, this may be the best PC purchase I've ever made....and I've been working in IT for 13 years! :)

The mini-pc was great. Easy to set up. Was very happy till the fan started. Initially there was a high pitched sound, which went away. Then I noticed that that whine would start whenever there was heavy I/O. The mini-PC with SSD drive is fantastic with how quickly it boots up from shut down. In every way it is a huge improvement over desk tops. If the fan was not high-pitched at times, I'd still be using it. Amazon refund on this is ridiculous - they have it on hand but need to check if I returned everything which is fair, but it should not take them up to two weeks after they get it to do the checking.
