  • So far so good!
Size: N100 16G+500G
Got this to run a home Linux system on the main tv in our home. After some issues trying to partition drive (most likely my fault) for a dual boot with windows, I wiped it and installed Ubuntu on it. Works great! Ubuntu runs very very well on this machine and it's perfect as a home PC system for our needs. Def check these out if you want a mini PC that performs well and is really quite cheap. Even more so if you want to run a Linux os. ... show more

  • OMG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This really is the best PC I have ever had. I didn't think it would be so functional as what it is for the money and for how lightweight it is as well as the size. I decided to purchase this and man am I glad I did. 1st I want to say to the manufacturers...Thanks for making such a wonderful and functional product. I have been an avid player of Skyrim playing it on my other PC's at only 12 fps and maybe as high as 20 if I'm lucky with the lowest possible settings,PC and graphics display tweaks as well as performance mods without a whole lot of success but minimally, even lowest resolution at 800x600. Then I got this little beauty and now I am running at 800x600 resolution which is fine with me. I have almost 100 mods that is being played into the game, everything is set to ultra and all the sliders are all the way over to the right.Including all reflex ticked for details etc. as well as FXAA being ticked and I am running at 30 plus fps. I have also been able to play Roblox and epic games PUBG (although at lower settings),but I get absolutely no lag and the performance is very good. I've not been able to do this with any other PC I have had nor have. If one wants to know my virtual memory if I remember right was at 4.3 Gigs unlike my other PC's if I was even able to get them (with no success) over 516 MB. So Yeah I am pleased. Also the boot time takes 23 to 32 seconds but soon as I use my pin (4 digit) to log in all my programs (icons) are already loaded. If this sounds good to anyone for the buck then look no where else...This is it ! Oh btw all my updates (that I do frequently have all been successful) for the exception for one that is to get the operating system to 22H2 as right I'm stuck at 21H2 without an update to give me the chance to redo it for the 22H2 which is the only sucky thing. I wanted 22H2 so I can have the ability to stack my start menu icons instead of having a whole bunch of them showing up all at once. Microsoft removed the feature from Win11 only to have to wait for the 22H2 update. So this is not a device issue as this is a Microsoft issue. ... show more

  • Excellent Mini PC!
Size: N100 16G+500G
I am thrilled so far with my purchase. You will need at least a corded keyboard to set this thing up but I always keep 1 old corded keyboard just for emergencies anyway. That said the setup for me was the easiest I've ever had. Maybe Windows 11 Pro is just that good but anyway the Beelink Mini PC has exceeded my expectations day one out of the box. It quickly connected to my wifi dual monitors and Bluetooth devices. I consider myself to be picky and above average heavy PC user. I bought this as sort of a cheap experiment but I am blown away for the price. The only thing I don't know is long term reliability. Only time will tell, but for $169 it's a deal. No one paid me for this review. ... show more

  • Good Performance For an Inexpensive Mini-Computer
IMPORTANT UPDATE: This mini pc was purchased for use as a Plex server running 24/7. Recently just a little over a year after the original purchase the CPU cooling fan failed. This resulted in huge drop in the processing speed and an increase in the number of processing errors, which effectively made the unit worthless. It was very easy to see the CPU fan was the problem since the temperature on the top of the computer case was hot to the touch. This computer case is built much like a two-story house in that it has a solid horizontal barrier creating a second floor inside the case which holds the CPU unit and its cooling fan. A quick search for a replacement CPU fan did not turn up a compatible fan, but doing a like replacement with a fan lasting just a little more than a year would not have been a wise decision. Just for kicks, I purchased a 120mm computer case fan. Amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07R659J8Z?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 It turns out this fan has a switch for three speed fan control, corner pegs providing the fan about ½ inch of air space from its floor surface and was very close to the size to the computer case. All I had to do was get a USB 5v power supply, plug it in to the fan, take the bottom off the computer case and put the bottomless computer case on top of the fan and turn it on. This took less than 5 to 10 minutes, and the computer was up and running again, good as new. I could have sealed and fastened the fan to the computer case, but did not bother. It was a little surprising with nothing done to ventilate the upper chamber of the computer case this solution was effective. With the new cooling fan running at medium speed, the top of computer case was just warm to the touch. One of the best parts of this solution, is a 120mm case fan running at medium speed not doing much cooling would easily run for many years. However, there could be a bit of bad news here. The bottom plate of this computer case has the connector for the 2.5 HHD/SSD which you are going to lose with this fix. Since the computer had a USB 3.0 plug I was not using, I just purchased an external 2.5 USB 3.0 external drive case and good to go with what I had. Hopefully this information, if needed, will get your computer up and running again with minimal cost and fuss. END OF UPDATE This minicomputer was purchased to use as a Plex server and to reduce usage on my gaming computer, by shifting the MS Office stuff, email and web surfing to the mini-computer. Minimizing the gaming computer usage was done to reduce power consumption. For these items, the mini-computer has succeeded beyond my expectations. The minicomputer works well with the 32-inch 4K monitor I have. Browsing the internet is just slightly slower than my gaming computer, and there is no noticeable difference in the image quality of the screen. Everything that is streamed on the Plex server is only done within my household directly from the server files, eliminating the need for the mini-computer to do any transcoding. The gaming compute and the mini-computer share a network drive that is used for processing and streaming the files, respectively. In other posts here I have seen this mini-computer does not have enough power to do very much transcoding. As near as I can tell the RAM memory and M.2 PCIe SSD are made by Silicon Motion. I could not find any of their products listed for sale or review on the web. I did upgrade the M.2 SSD to a Crucial 1TB PCIe Gen3 3D NAND NVMe M.2 SSD, with a rated top read speed of 3500MB/s. So, if you are interested in upgrading the M.2 SSD, you can use a Gen 3 2280 NvMe SSD. However, I found the new M.2 SSD did not run any faster (about 900 MB/s) than the M.2 SSD that came with the mini-computer. One of the reasons the M.2 SSD was upgraded was because the M.2 would be the item on this computer mostly to fail. So, if the computer does fail, I can easily put the old M.2 back in to see if that is the problem. As with any computer, and especially with this one, be sure to make regular backups. ... show more
