This has been wonderful. No problems at all. It's totally quiet 99.9% of the time. Totally. A few times I've heard the fan and it's alarmed me. Not because it's overly loud but because it's normally silent. I've had it about 1.5 years and love it. Okay, here's one technical thing I'll say. I bought a new trackball and connected with blue tooth. The response time was poor for game play. I switched to wireless USB and it's fine. Oh, and I bought a 1 to 4 USB port expansion device cause I needed more ports. You might need to do that. Very happy with the purchase. It was my first time not buying an Intel processor. I wanted to stop relying on my laptop to run my home setup and get a small form factor box on the desk with my 2 24" monitors, each is 1920 x 1080. I decided to buy this hoping it would run GTA IV and RDR which just game out but is an older game. It runs these fine and more! This is fast for everything I do which include personal writing, record keeping and entertainment. Games like GTA IV, Red Dead Redemption, etc run at over 60 fps at 1980 x 1080. I do not have a 4k monitor. Runs very smooth. GTA V and RDR 2 at 1920 x 1080 on high or very high and high run at 45 fps to 65 fps, and are very fluid. You won't get all the details but you get what you need for the fun of the game. SpiderMan remastered doesn't show fps but is also very fluid and has the fps you need to enjoy the game. This is stunning performance for an all in one chip and shows how far the technology has come in the last ten years when running a chrome browser was a challenge. Purchased this mini PC to connect to the TV for online entertainment in a common area of the house. Initially thought it was only going to be strong enough for streaming videos and older games. Decided to test out some more recent games, and it rendered them pretty well once the settings for both software and PC are aligned correctly. This PC is capable of doing 4k resolution, which is overkill for me, since I can't see the difference between 4k and 1080p when images are moving quickly. The small size is great and can fit anywhere. Runs very quiet, and is easy to set up. The aluminum case looks really nice and sleek. My only complaint is that the Bluetooth signal seems spotty and makes wireless controller input lag even when only 3 feet away. I solved this by purchasing an external Bluetooth extender and shutting off the built-in Bluetooth. Overall I am pleased with my purchase, and hope that it lasts for as long as my other PCs. ... show more

3 months with this mini pc and I am very happy with it. I run low, medium and high graphic games as well as advanced video editing software (for long periods) with no issues so far. Mine is very quiet. Does run warm-ish depending on the game I am playing but has never gotten hot enough to be concerning. A couple of other things I love is the color - which is a frost/light silver that blends in well with other desk decor, and the size - so cute and petite it will fit just about anywhere! Like others, I intend to use this Mini PC as a Ubuntu server. However, adding a second NVMe SSD enables you to format, partition, and mount the drive but disables the WIFI card, disabling any SSH or network activity. Once you remove the second NVMe SSD, the WIFI returns. You can then add this NVMe using an SSD enclosure, and everything works fine. In short, this isn't a good choice if you're running Linux and need the second NVMe. ... show more

I really wanted to like this product but the headache of dealing with different time zones (there a company based out of China) i installed linux on it and wanted to dual boot Linux along side windows (thinking i could get a USB stick with Windows from there website) that's when the headache began, They don't keep there website up-to-date so you have to e-mail them for a copy of the Beelink SER8 Windows 11 Pro and on top of that you have to pay for the download (they use maga download and it stops abruptly and they ask you to pay them 10 bucks to finish the download...) really shady business model!! The last straw was when i noticed there TPM 2.0 Firmware version WAS ALMOST 5 YEARS OLD!!! i can think of at least 2 MAJOR EXPLOITS that can take advantage of this vulnerability... ... show more
