The equipment is made of poor quality the beehive grip is put together backwards We made the mistake of ordering a lot of our supplies in January and February for our bees that came in it’s to late to return so here I am stuck with products that don’t work

    • Great Starter kit
I was mainly after the smoker but having spare tools is very handy. I have used the smoker twice now with pellets and has worked really well. bellow seems to be well made. Tools are of a quality to be expected for this price range. Overall good kit for the basic most used tools.

I am new to beekeeping, pick up my first colony next month. I was a little nervous about buying these items on Amazon without seeing them first but when the kit arrived, it is great quality! All the items are exactly as shown and sturdy. The knife is sharp, the smoker is exactly like all the ones I see in videos and everything else is made exactly like I would buy in a store.     • Wish I bought individual quality pieces.
Smoker is thin and gets very hot. Queen cage is worthless. I caught my queen 3 times to mark her, but the cage spring was such poor quality that she got out all 3 times. I gave up and threw it away. Knife is nice. Hive tools and brush are good.
