I don't really write very comprehensive reviews about products I purchased on Amazon, but I stumbled upon this watch and I was very impressed. As a watch collector myself, I'm very picky about the type of watches I buy and this one just cut the mustard for me. First, it's so well designed and stylish that it could easily rival any high-end brand-name watch out there (i.e. Suunto, etc.). In fact, this remind me of the Suunto I had a few years ago (minus all the heart monitoring features plus, of course). The display is sufficiently large that it becomes so simple just to take a peek from the distance and boom, you'll informed! This is good if you think you're like me not willing to wear the glasses just yet. And unlike other brand names (i.e., Casio, Timex), this watch's display shows exactly the basic info that you need on the main screen, like time (hours, minutes, seconds), as well as the date (day of the week on top and date at the bottom). I love the fact that it's so thin and it's strap comes with double loops! How many times I wished for high-end brand name watch makes to include such "small" but important feature, but they didn't. In addition, check out the numerous features the AW02 comes packs with: alarm (with snooze mode!), stop watch, dual time (with independent hour/minute programming!), timer, and a 3-second delay light! Wow, this one chuck-full of features. And all these for an astonishing low price! I really can't believe a watch like this is selling for such a low price. The one (perhaps negative) detail that caught my attention though is that fact that the seller touts this watch as "waterproof", but it's only rated at 5 ATM (50 mts.); as opposed to some or all of the other (much more important) features listed above, in my opinion. Also, on the back metallic cover they chose to print: "Japan battery"; instead of "Japan movement," for example. It might not have a Japanese movement, but how's a Japanese battery better than say, a battery from Indonesia or Malaysia? I don't know, but I think that their marketing dept. just dropped the ball there. All in all, I'm very taken by this little "gem" I found on Amazon. I was originally looking for another Casio to replace my "old faithful" that just died after 10 straight years of service, but I'm so glad I stumbled upon this one instead. Time will tell, I guess, as to the durability of its materials and the reliability of its electronics, but so far, so great. So, if you're looking for an inexpensive digital watch that's stylish and packed with useful features, the AW02 Sport Watch will not disappoint! ... show more

I have been pleasantly surprised by this watch! I needed something slightly sturdy with a loud alarm. All of the alarms, times, etc. are easy to set. It lasted me a year through hobbies and outdoor labor. The other night I accidentally wore it into a hot tub. I noticed after a couple minutes and it looked like a goner; blank screen, making beeps. I left it on the counter overnight for some reason and the next morning it was completely back to normal! I am both surprised and impressed. ... show more

This is a great watch and an excellent value. I've had mine for a year without any problems. It looks great, it's pretty accurate, very legible digits and good night lights. It's easy to use and sits everything I want in a digital watch. That said, it could be so much better on basic functionality. 1) the alarm is not very loud, so if you have hearing issues like me it's a problem. 2) most watches have up and down buttons when setting time, this one has only up, so if you pass over your setting you need to cycle all the way around. Annoying as heck.3) while the timer has a 30 sec resolution on countdown it can only be set to the minute, so if you want better precision or say a 15 second timer this won't work. 4) the dual time is just that, a second clock, but unlike the main clock you don't get the date or other status symbols on the display so you have to switch back to view. It's annoying when traveling.5) while it's good that it has 12/24hr setting, the mode is too easily toggled by pressing the top right button, even by accident. It should be part of the clock time setting process. Irks me. Other than that, love it. ... show more

I like the look of the watch. It's comfortable to wear. I have a hard time seeing the display when using in a low light environment even with the display illumination which isn't very bright. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase.

The watch itself really thin and durable. I work outside in a chemical plant and it's held up pretty good. Great product for the price. The screen can scratch from metal hitting it and the band breaks off pretty easily. I recommend buying a 22mm universal watch band that you like and pop off the one that comes with it before it breaks by itself. Also buy a screen protector pack for AW02. ... show more

Nice watch, the face is large & easy to read. I like how skinny the face is, not too bulky on my wrist. The band is a bit stiff, I'm hoping it'll get more flexible over time.

Thought about writing a review for this watch since I got it a couple years ago. Fantastic watch for the price. I wanted a simple digital watch that shows seconds, as well as the option for 24hr time. As an ICU Nurse I need these things. I also love the option to have the watch beep once on the hour every hour. Helps me keep track of time, especially when I run CRRT which requires hourly number inputs and adjustments. It’s waterproof enough for frequent handwashing, easy to clean, looks nice and stylish, and no visible scratches despite smacking it into equipment and walls and such. 4/5 stars because my first watch broke and required a replacement after a year but this one has lasted me about 2 years now. ... show more
