I loved the color on this and my dogs love sleeping on it. It’s a nice comfy bed, without being extravagant or expensive. The grippy bottom is surprisingly excellent and doesn’t slide around on our floors. We can also travel with it easily and I imagine it would fit perfectly in a kennel. It was easy to put together where other beds are a fight to get the cover on and off. I’d say it is more water “resistant” than water“proof”. Our dog has small accidents/leaks in her sleep from time to time and that usually involves washing her whole bed. For the most part, small amounts of liquid seem to bead and roll without leaving too much wetness on the cover. We also catch it pretty quickly so the moisture doesn’t have time to soak through. It still gets a little wet and needs to be washed, but we noticed the cushion stays dry and smell-free so she still has something to lay on if we’re washing the cover. The cover is so easy to take off and put in the wash. There wasn’t any shrinkage when we dried it either, making it easy to put back on the pillow. ... show more

I bought this product for two reasons, It's waterproof proof and I figured my geriatric chihuahua pug mix can't hump it. My second reason was proven almost immediately when she tried and failed to violate it, the first reason was proven today. After a full day of refusing to go potty outside because the rain is just far to scary her bladder finally failed her, thankfully on this bed and not on my carpet or couch. After seeing half her body weight in pee my first though was "wow more money wasted on yet another dog bed" because there couldn't possibly be a way any dog bed is THAT waterproof. However, after I cleaned the puddle and accepted my fate I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that when I pulled off the cover the inside was completely dry. I own a bedsure duvet and multiple covers so I know their products are good but this bed is the first "waterproof" dog bed I have had actually work and not have the waterproof backing rip to shreds in the washer. ... show more

My 13 year old lab has always been afraid of thunderstorms (and the washing machine). Her fear has become increasingly problematic the older she gets. Medication does not solve the problem. So she started destroying my apartment in an attempt to dig to China. Then she started peeing on the floor...completely out of character. So I put up a kennel and bought this bed for her comfort...and because the bed itself is waterproof (the cover isn't). I loved it and so did the dog...as long as no storm is coming. I live in Florida so it is IMPOSSIBLE to have no storm every day in summer. The bed is soft and thick and very comfy. It has held up to my dog trying to dig to China. No rips or tears of any kind. It has also stood up well to urine and it is waterproof. It's been washed twice now and comes out in great shape. She's not a chewer so I can't comment on that. The bed is highly recommended. Unfortunately she won't be able to continue to use it in the kennel because her anxiety is really out of control. She will have to go without so I'm not washing every single day. ... show more

My baby is 75+ lbs and he fits perfectly on XL. He sleeps very comfortably while snoring loudly. It zippers on separate to the mattress great for washing the drool. I had previously ordered two of these and the filling wasn’t chopped up memory foam. It was regular fluffy filling and my dogs loved it. Perfect for their kennels. I have four boxers, all around 60 lbs, and a large was big enough for their kennels. My youngest dog decided to tear into two of them one day so I reordered these from my previous order. The new ones’ white liner fabric is not fully waterproof. These new ones have the solid waterproof fabric on one side and the other side is sheer. I’m going to start out with saying, I love the fact that it unzips on two sides, making it super easy to remove the cover wash and then put the foam mattress back inside without fighting with the cover. It is super easy to take in and out. The cover washes beautifully. My only negative is it is not completely waterproof. My dog was not well and she urinated on it and it did go through to the foam. However, I sprayed it with some Febreze and urine and odor eliminator. The cover washed great and it still is like new. ... show more
