I haven't had this electric heated throw for very long, so I can't tell you about durability or longevity. And by the way, it is not a dog bed/blanket. More on that later. The 1st time I turned it on, I tossed it over a chair, and it didn't seem to heat up at all. I questioned its heat level. I decided to actually throw it over my lap and was pleasantly surprised. It rapidly provides a comfortable, gentle heat. It's larger than I want, making it a bit awkward for my lap while working at my desk. But for a chaise or sofa, it's perfect. The fabric is soft (especially the sherpa side) , and the ribbed quilting along the wires makes it attractive. Color (grey) is good. The control is okay; after reading the simple instructions, I learned how to set both the temp and the time. All this for a very reasonable sale price. About the reluctant-to-give-over dog: This evening I decided to relax in a favorite arm chair with my throw. I turned it on and left to make tea. Upon returning, I found my best friend curled up on it — loath to relinquish his spot.

We got the Throw. It warms up well. It is never too hot however it does not seem to heat totally to the 4 ends/corners. We love it still. Heats one side only. Top side gets very mildly warm. The chord could use a modest makeover. It’s a bit wonky. Suppose it could be personally modified and made to hang well and efficiently. Would recommend and repurchase. In fact, we will be buying a few more. Feels safe. Made well.

I love this blanket! It has a timer and 6 different heat levels. I’ve tried other blankets but they just get warm. This one actually feels hot. The heat is pretty even and doesn’t have hot spots. the material is soft. It’s perfect for pets too, my cat loves it. It’s honestly one of the best purchases I’ve made all year. So I ordered the king and The color and quality of the blanket itself is beautiful honestly but one side already doesn’t work properly . The heat is stronger on the top side of the blanket and the bottom where the cords plug in doesn’t heat up at all. Then one side would heat up and the other dudded out after within the same week. I haven’t experienced washing it as I am a lil hesitant because it’s already having issues. Other than that, the blanket is really soft, cozy and comfortable. The only thing keeping this item from getting 5 stars is the main reason I ordered a heating blanket for, to heat up !
