Pros: the coil to blanket ratio is really generous/fair. The colored side stays really soft even after washing. and the different heat settings get really hot, i almost always only use 1-4 of the settings. the material and use seems to keep up pretty well. Con: after being on for hours sometimes the blanket gets cooler than when you first turned it on. This is bound to happen though, so i just turn it up one and it gets hot again. This is my 4th Bedsure heated blanket. I bought my first last year and it still cranks, I use it everyday as we have a big drafty house and a heating pad is too small. I got tired of moving it from my work area to the bed so i bought one for our bedroom and another for the guest room. This one is for my partners lap. Having a heated blanket is a huge plus where I live.

My wife absolutely loves it the heat is nice but not to hot. It covers her completely. I do wish the cord was a little longer as it fairly short. It is super soft. You can wash it but we hung it up to dry as i didnt trust it in the dryer. (The cat also loves it)

This Bedsure GentleSoft electric blanket was a major letdown. The blanket itself looks nice and feels soft, but that’s where the positives end. As a heated blanket, it simply does not deliver meaningful warmth, which makes the rest of the features irrelevant. No matter which heat setting was used, including the highest level, the blanket never got more than slightly lukewarm. I gave it plenty of time to warm up, well beyond what should be necessary, and the result was always the same. There was no noticeable heat buildup, no cozy warmth, and no real difference between the lower and higher settings. If you’re someone who actually needs warmth at night, this will not meet that need. The marketing around multiple heat levels and fast heating doesn’t match real-world performance. You can cycle through all six settings and still feel like you’re using a regular, non-heated blanket. The timer and auto shutoff features sound good on paper, but they don’t matter if the blanket never produces enough heat to begin with. The flannel material is soft and comfortable, and the size is appropriate for a full bed, but comfort alone doesn’t justify buying an electric blanket. A standard blanket would provide the same level of warmth without needing to be plugged in. For a product specifically sold as a heated blanket, that’s a serious failure. Because it doesn’t warm properly, it’s especially disappointing if purchased as a gift, particularly for someone like a grandparent who may rely on added heat for comfort. It simply doesn’t do what it’s advertised to do. Overall, this blanket misses the mark completely. Soft fabric can’t make up for the lack of heat, and the heating system feels either underpowered or ineffective. Based on performance alone, this earns one star, because it turns on, but it does not actually warm you. I would not recommend it to anyone looking for real heat.

I absolutely love this very soft throw blanket. It is FCC approved and best part for me is that it goes off automatically after two hours. I love that safety feature. It is so comfy and the wires that run through it are so thin you can barely feel them. My issue is… The cord is too short. My bed is right next to an outlet and I am constantly pulling it out by accident. That… Is a pain in the neck. If they could make the cord a little longer, that would be awesome. Otherwise, I have gotten these for a bunch of people for Christmas gifts. Even my dog knows it’s warm because I constantly find her up on my bed lying on it when I’m trying to get myself ready for bed. Perfect size for when you are sitting on the couch. Light enough to carry around wherever you go. 5 heat settings. I have already washed it twice and it has come out perfect. Just don’t forget to remove the electrical cord. This winter has been brutal in New York and I am so happy to have this.

To start off this blanket is very pretty and soft but that's where it stops. After one and a half months it doesn't heat up completely and I find that half the blanket loses heat after an hour. I want to give it less stars but then it gets buried and nobody sees my review. I kept raising the heat level each time I used it to see if it helped and it never did and much to my (not good) surprise it only went up to 6. For the price of this blanket I think the level of heat and function is ridiculous. Not a good value for your money. Thank God the return window is still open because this is going back.
