We bought this blanket to use on a recent camping trip in an RV due to the fact that it was supposed to get into the 40s at night. It was perfect. In fact, we kept having to turn the temperature down because it was too warm. It is soft and plush and looks great when spread out across the bed. Each of the two controllers allowed us to adjust it to individual settings. My husband tends to get colder than I do, so it is really nice to have the option for him to set his side of the blanket to a higher setting. Quick review ratings Quality: 4.5 out of 5 stars Effectiveness: 4.9 Value: 5.0 Satisfaction: 4.9 Short review highlights: I like how this blanket came tightly sealed in an airtight vacuum-packed clear plastic bag, assuring product integrity of first use from the factory. I like how this blanket is very soft and plush and feels really nice to the touch. I like how it’s constructed to be warm and is warm just as a regular blanket without any power at all. I like how the controls are simple/effective and how the 3hr default timer is set intuitive for most use I like how the highest heat setting seems sufficient even when really cold, and that it heats up fast helping to better thaw out my feet that can get cold as ice. I like how being a shorter throw model doesn’t take away from it’s effectiveness and that its smaller size even helps make it easier to manage. I like how upon ordering that the manufacturer emailed me guidelines for safe use/operation I like how other than the big plastic sticker they put on it that there’s very little that I don’t like. Long review details Although this blanket is very soft and plush, it’s thin enough that you can still easily mold it to follow your shape. But with it’s construction being on the thin side, you are reminded that it is indeed an electric blanket because you can feel the heating cables within it's build which start their inlaid pattern at about 10 inches inward from the outer most edge/border, but I haven’t found the feel of them to be at all off-putting either. I didn’t like that some spots seemed to heat up more than others but over all that’s also pretty minor and that most importantly it does warm up quickly. I also didn’t like that the handheld controller itself tends to heat up a bit when on the higher settings adding some worry to its safety but I’ve been using it for over a year now and haven’t had issues otherwise; and, I found you don’t have to keep it on high for very long, just to warm up quickly before setting it lower. For more precaution I initially got in the habit of hanging my controller from a hook hung off my bed side dresser drawer which helps give it adequate space to "hang out and be cool" and that does seem to help it dissipate heat better; but I also often use it while on the couch with the controller right on top of me or with it sometimes ending up off to the side or even under me, but still haven’t had any issues. This is the throw size model and I like that its smaller in terms of size management because while I'm also using other regular blankets with this (only when its really cold, and when I might lay one blanket on top of this one to better hold the heat in) on my lower half to add more heat where it’s needed most for my legs and especially my feet that can often get cold as ice, and this really helps with that. I do often use it on the couch but either way I always use it with a flannel sheet which not only works well for adding extra warmth but better helps to distribute the heat and has also been very effective in keeping it cleaner longer and so effective that I haven't had to wash it yet. This is surely not a perfect product, nor at this price point is it made of the highest standard or quality in comparison to models more expensive, but despite that its issues have been minor, and it’s been working really well for me over what's been now its second cold season or second year and it’s still keeping me warm at night. Will update if any of this changes, but again, it's going into its second year of daily use (when it’s cold), and I can recommend it with a full five stars. ... show more

Beautiful, extremely soft. Lightweight but it is an electric warming blanket! I purchased the green to go with my bedding. I chose the throw size because I don’t need the sides of my bed to get warm - only the top. It got warm as soon as I plugged it in and turned it on. The packaging was incredible - a sturdy box, the blanket was shrink wrapped inside. The plug was separated. There was a warranty card included and washing instructions. The cord and plug are not incredibly long on the throw but I have outlets directly behind my bed so it worked. The green in my photo is a bit off. It is a pretty forest green. ... show more

We ordered this electric blanket in October 2025. It came uniquely packed in a vacuum-sealed bag, inside another plastic bag, and then inside a product box -- very sound and protective packaging for shipment. The blanket is plush and soft, with a fleece-type underside. It comes with two controllers, each of which plugs into to an individual connector at the foot of the blanket. The wires from the connection points to the controllers are sufficiently long to place the controllers on bedside tables. The power plug is sufficiently long to reach a nearby outlet. Each table-top controller has an LED display, with push buttons to control: The temperature/level of heat (+/-) from "low" to "10"); the time (+/-) the blanket remains on (1 to 10 hours); "Preheat," which sets the blanket to heat at a 10 level for 2 hours before reverting to a level 5 heat setting. The blanket heats sufficiently within about 15 minutes. So far, so good, and it seems like a good investment for the cost. ... show more

This electric blanket is excellent. I bought the twin sized blanket in taupe. The picture is true to the color, but it’s much prettier in person. The blanket is incredibly soft on both sides. It’s thin but still substantial. Other reviews mention the cord being too short. I’m not sure how that’s possible. The cord runs from the foot of my king size bed up to the headboard with a mountain of cord leftover. I love that the remote has actual, physical buttons to push. I considered buying other blankets but most had remotes that were all digital. Having actual buttons means I can adjust the temperature in the middle of the night without looking. As for temperature, it gets as hot or hotter than any other electric blanket that I’ve had. This was a great purchase and I recommend it highly. ... show more

I’ve had a lot of electric blankets (I tend to go through them fast because I use them most days once it gets cold out). So far, this has been my favorite! The outside is smooth, the Sherpa side is nice and fluffy and soft. I like the 6 heat setting options, and timer options. The hottest heat setting is 6- it’s warm but not SUPER hot to where you would have to worry about accidentally heat burns. The purple color is also true to the picture- a pretty deep purple. My dog also loves it and snuggles up when I have it on. Update: my mother liked it so much she ordered one as well. ... show more

This is just what my body needed. My cold spots (feet, nose, butt) did not respond to extra clothing and blankets. This throw is just perfect. Its subtle warmth takes care of problem area while not overheating, causing sweating, in any part of my body. I wish that I had had it for many past months.
