I chose the throw size because I don’t need the sides of my bed to get warm - only the top. It got warm as soon as I plugged it in and turned it on. The packaging was incredible - a sturdy box, the blanket was shrink wrapped inside. The plug was separated. There was a warranty card included and washing instructions. The cord and plug are not incredibly long on the throw but I have outlets directly behind my bed so it worked. The green in my photo is a bit off. It is a pretty forest green.

This electric blanket is excellent. I bought the twin sized blanket in taupe. The picture is true to the color, but it’s much prettier in person. The blanket is incredibly soft on both sides. It’s thin but still substantial. Other reviews mention the cord being too short. I’m not sure how that’s possible. The cord runs from the foot of my king size bed up to the headboard with a mountain of cord leftover. I love that the remote has actual, physical buttons to push. I considered buying other blankets but most had remotes that were all digital. Having actual buttons means I can adjust the temperature in the middle of the night without looking. As for temperature, it gets as hot or hotter than any other electric blanket that I’ve had. This was a great purchase and I recommend it highly.

I’ve had a lot of electric blankets (I tend to go through them fast because I use them most days once it gets cold out). So far, this has been my favorite! The outside is smooth, the Sherpa side is nice and fluffy and soft. I like the 6 heat setting options, and timer options. The hottest heat setting is 6- it’s warm but not SUPER hot to where you would have to worry about accidentally heat burns. The purple color is also true to the picture- a pretty deep purple. My dog also loves it and snuggles up when I have it on.

We ordered this electric blanket in October 2025. It came uniquely packed in a vacuum-sealed bag, inside another plastic bag, and then inside a product box -- very sound and protective packaging for shipment. The blanket is plush and soft, with a fleece-type underside. It comes with two controllers, each of which plugs into to an individual connector at the foot of the blanket. The wires from the connection points to the controllers are sufficiently long to place the controllers on bedside tables. The power plug is sufficiently long to reach a nearby outlet. Each table-top controller has an LED display, with push buttons to control: The temperature/level of heat (+/-) from "low" to "10"); the time (+/-) the blanket remains on (1 to 10 hours); "Preheat," which sets the blanket to heat at a 10 level for 2 hours before reverting to a level 5 heat setting. The blanket heats sufficiently within about 15 minutes. So far, so good, and it seems like a good investment for the cost.

i purchased this blanket because i have a draft in my rental window and the landlord won’t fix. i sleep so warmly now without the pricey electric bill from running a heater all night. the weight of this blanket is perfect; doesn’t feel too heavy or hot on me when i sleep. i ordered a queen size for my king bed and it fits over the top of the bed, which is exactly what i needed! i haven’t experienced any shedding yet, but i’ve only used it for a week. color seems true to image.

I especially like the simple LED remote, it's unlike some of the awkward ones I browsed or have owned in the past. Tip: my last few heated blankets were Sunbeam queen size for a queen bed but they were way too big for the bed and draped to the floor on both sides to where I had to fold it over the bed to keep it under the comforter. Why market them as queen? For this one I ordered the twin size that fits perfectly across the bed - but there is only one remote instead of two with the queen size option. My last two Sunbeams stopped working so hopefully this best seller last for a while.

I always hesitate when buying electric blankets. They're not as reliable as they used to be, and get a lot of negative comments. However, it has worked perfectly, so far. It warms quickly all over and remains consistent all night. The heat levels seem to be correct, also. I'm hot natured and usually need just a little warmth on my legs. Level 3 has worked well for me. The only negative about it is the material is kinda thin. But as long as it works well, whether I'm on top of or below it, that's good enough for me. 👍

UPDATE: The seller contacted me about making changes to the cord in the future and offered a partial refund so I wouldn't have to return it. I appreciate that the seller did this. The cord should be longer!! We plug our cords in under our bed, put it through a hole in the headboard and then under the mattress. It was probably 6" from where it should have been at the end of the bed. I either needed to return it, but I had already washed it, unwrapped all the cords, etc. or drill two new holes in the headboard. I'm not sure which was more of a pain. Really?? You couldn't make the cord longer????
