This brand is my go-to for great quality and affordable linens. This blanket definitely needs to be washed (cold water, low tumble dry) before use. It makes all the difference. It's soft, lightweight and perfect for warmer temps. The color is beautiful too!

First good night sleep in a long time. Beautiful cooling blanket.

I received this blanket yesterday. I was looking for a lightweight blanket for the summer that would help me keep cooler at night and regulate body heat a little bit better. I’m a very hot sleeper and wake up multiple times because I’m hot. Last night was the first time in a very long time that I did not wake up multiple times hot. The fact I slept the entire night! When I woke up, I felt cool. This blanket did an amazing job at regulating my body's temperature. It’s beautiful. It’s lightweight And I can’t believe I finally found a blanket that kept me comfortable, and I slept well! I ordered a blue color and initially didn’t like the color so I ordered this white one. I was going to return the blue one, but I’m going to give it to my son because he complains about always being hot and waking up multiple times throughout the night as well. Love love love this blanket! I recently purchased a blanket that is advertised as a cooling blanket for when you sleep and it was an epic fail! I don’t think this blanket is advertised as a cooling blanket, but it blew the popular brand blanket that does advertise a cooling product out of the water! So grateful for this product. Finally… the first night sleep I’ve had in so long and not one time did I wake up hot!

overall this blanket is very soft, super light weight and comfortable for hot summer nights!! i will say for pet owners, i wouldn’t recommend allowing pets to sit or sleep on this as the seams and weaving of the “waffle” is very loose and easy to get caught on. i’ve had a few bracelets even get caught in it. otherwise, i would say the quality is what you pay for and it’s super cute and easy to wash!!

Great buy

I bought this mainly for my husband, he’s a very hot sleeper and I haven’t been able to find bedding to keep him cool, with out me freezing. (We have the ceiling fan, a fan on the night stand, and a bigger fan at the end of the room. Just to give you an idea how serious he takes this) I put this blanket (king size) on the bed and our duvet over. He sleeps under the blanket and tosses the duvet off him. he sleeps much better this way. He doesn’t over heat, and it’s a light, airy blanket that he can be comfortable under. I also sleep under the blanket, and have the duvet on me. We both think it’s a super comfortable blanket. It’s soft, but has like a cozy feel to it. I would even say it’s luxurious. I’m super high maintenance about having that luxurious/cozy “hotel bed” that you can just sink in to, and I’d say this blanket meets my standards. Now, as far as the blanket being cooling/breathable/airy - I would say it stands up to that claim. It doesn’t over heat, or make you feel hot underneath. I’ve noticed sleeping under the blanket (and my duvet) that I can stay warm, but not hot. However if I do move to a new spot of the bed, then it does feel cold under the blanket until my body heat warms it up. So I usually stay in the same spot. Lol There are squares on the blanket that you can practically stick a slim object through (if you pick at it or forcefully mess with it) but I think that’s why the blanket is so airy and breathable. Maybe keep dogs/cat off the blanket so their nails don’t get caught. But I don’t think it’ll be a big problem. Just wash and dry accordingly, and try not let anything snag at the blanket. The length/size of the blanket is good. It fully fits my king bed, and hangs off the mattress plenty. (I also have a tall mattress) HOWEVER—- because this blanket has viscose (bamboo) material, it WILL shrink in hot water. Do not wash, or dry in hot water/heat. Lay out flat to dry, or air dry only in the dryer. I seen some previous reviews saying that the blankets are small, honestly I think maybe they washed/dried them incorrectly with out noticing that was the cause of the size. The king size is more than enough for a king bed. I picked the taupe color. It’s kinda a light beige and I’d say true to color. I wanted something other than white for my bedding, but if I ever go to change my bedding I’ll definitely get another blanket. But honestly I’m just debating on getting the white blanket too. I got it while on sale, (54$) but I would still pay original price for this blanket. It’s a new staple for my bedding.! Also, I did get an email from the seller with correct washing/drying instructions and care of the blanket. Overall a good buy, and probably will by again.

Cool but small light-weight blanket; shrinks when washed/dried

I bought this because I wanted something low-priced and lightweight for our vacation; the beach apartment has a king size bed and we have a queen at home. This blanket is comfortable for me and I am always hot when sleeping. However, it was not big enough for the king sized bed. It works great on our queen bed. So I recommend you size up, or get a different blanket. I followed the washing instructions and weirdly they say to not put the blanket in the dryer. How in the world are you supposed to dry a huge blanket without a dryer?! So out of necessity, I put it in the dryer on the lowest heat, which is the dry level I use on all our clothes, and the dryer never shrinks anything. So either the blanket strangely shrunk a ton, or it was small in the first place. Either way, making a blanket that can’t go in the dryer is not practical at all. I’m wondering if it will continue to shrink as I wash it…
