If you like to sleep cool this is your blanket. I do feel it can get awfuly cool under it but I have a second blanket that if I need I use to cover my arms/shoulders that keeps me just warm/cool enough together thats perfect. I work night shift and often have a hard time sleeping during the day because I get so hot and restless. This has helped me keep energy costs down in the summer and get better rest during the day. My husband tried it out to see if he would like one and said it was way too cool for him and he couldnt get warm enough. He is a tall larger man. So i figured it would be his kind of blanket. It in fact was not. I am also pregnant and am anticipating the postpartum sweats that are coming my way and feel this will be great for that. I am the kind of person who likes my environment cooler and sleep under cuddly blankets. So this blanket in combo with my fluffy blanket are the perfect pair. I love my cooling blanket. It's soft and luxurious, a better quality than others I've seen in stores. It's beautiful, makes an unmade bed look inviting. It's a great choice for summer nights when a sheet isn't enough. I'm sure I will be using it all year long.

I don't typically write reviews, but I recently bought a similar (cheaper) product that isn't nearly as good, so now I have a true comparison of how good this blanket really is. I slept with one or two layers of fabric between me and this blanket, and can still feel the cooling effects. It was a little small for what I wanted (it's only a throw, so that's my fault), so I bought a bigger one in a cheaper brand. I could tell that the other one didn't have as good of a cooling effect through multiple layers of fabric. This blanket's cooling is far superior, and I'll be buying another in a larger size for that purpose. I hate washing blankets, hence my use of sheets between me and the blanket, so I have yet to test the washability, but I've used it on and off for months with no decline in the quality of the cooling ability. I am a very hot sleeper. I have a cooling bed pad, cooling sheets, a fan pointed on me, and I keep the room cold. I still get too hot. This blanket, I can pull over me, while still under my light blanket, and it cools me down instantly. I keep it off to the side at night because it's actually far too cold to use as my main blanket because I keep my room so cold. But it's very soft slinky material. Very cool to the touch. One side is super cold and the other is more "vented" I guess? But whenever I have a heat surge I just pull this blanket over my chest and stomach and it cools me down. If it manages to heat up I can just shake it a bit in the cold air and it cools down again immediately. 10/10 Love this blanket ... show more

Got this for my baby for when the weather started getting hotter, it works great!! It of course doesn’t stay cool forever but it does help her feel covered for a nap while not overheating her too bad. The texture isn’t great, it a bit overstimulating but I have gotten used to it, & it does get better after washes. Great value for the money. I wish brands would put better tags on their items. I've struggled with sweating overnight especially while living in Miami. This cooling blanket makes a huge difference helping to keep me cool and asleep! When I had the flu it was essential in my comfort while having a high fever and cold sweats. If you haven't tried one before I recommend starting with the throw since it is inexpensive and still useful but the queen size is much larger and is my go to for sleeping. ... show more
