This pillow has medium-soft firmness. It is a little too soft for our liking. Contoured shape does provide better support for neck. Pillow case is soft and cool to touch. Pillow fits into the case nicely.

I'm a very active sleeper, I mostly switch between left and right side sleeping all night, but I sleep on my back and stomach too. I tried this pillow out for a few nights, and woke up with worse neck and shoulder pain than usual. I didn't want to trigger a flare, so I went back to my usual pillow. I'm a bit bummed it didn't help me, but the material is nice, and it seems well made.

I really like this pillow. I guess I do need neck support while sleeping, have wondered about that but never felt like trying this type of pillow, not sure why, but just never did, but I am so glad I finally gave it a try. It actually works really great for me. I do not have the headaches or as sore of shoulders when I wake up and I sleep soundly now and do not wake up for no reason, other than if I have to use the bathroom. I was surprised how much this has helped my sleeping and I am not even waking myself up with snoring like I have been known to do. The pillow itself is really nice quality. The foam is firm, so it is a firmer pillow so that may not be comfortable for everyone, but it is comfy for me. It has stayed it's full size so far, but it has only been less than a week that I have been using it, but it seems like the foam is really good quality and should last for quite some time. There are the two raised sides, and one is a little bigger than the other side, and I have found the smaller raised side to work best for me. I have also not been having the issue of the pillow getting too hot and needing to turn it, so it really must have some kind of cooling effect, whether it is the design or the materials used, I am not sure but it has not been getting hot like my other regular pillows would. It comes with a silk, luxurious feeling slip that closes with a zipper on the backside. You can just put a pillowcase over that. I have been really impressed with how well this pillow has actually been working for me and wish I would have tried this type of pillow a long time ago. For me this pillow is a big yes all around.

I used this pillow the first night or two before it was repurposed by another family member. I will explain more shortly. Immediate impressions - cover is soft and memory foam is very responsive. It cradles the neck and head and rebounds to its original shape almost immediately. So far, so good. The cover seems to be made of a fiber that doesn't absorb much heat. It felt cooler throughout the night. To me, that's a HUGE plus. If I don't fall asleep immediately, I end up turning or flipping the pillow to find a cool spot. I've been that way my entire life. Unfortunately, my review ends after only a few nights of testing. At that point, I would recommend it for a comfortable pillow that prevents stiff necks in the AM. So, a few days into use, my beloved small dog Charlie noticed the pillow on the floor when I was making my bed and decided to give it a try. I couldn't get him to move off of it! He loves this thing! I know most people might be mad at their pet for annexing their new pillow, but my guy Charlie is a rescue puppy who suffered a number of abuses prior to my family adopting him. Most recently, we had to have all but 4 of his teeth removed due to dental neglect. His gumline was black and infected and his breath smelled like something died in his mouth. He's also awaiting surgery to repair a torn ACL. I don't have the heart to take away something that makes him comfortable given all he's been dealing with. So, I can also recommend this as a great dog bed!
