This blanket is a perfect solution for summer. It looks nice too. Our regular quilted fiberfill comforter was just a bit too sweaty--even with the air conditioner running at 68 F, and even though it is supposedly "all-season." This blanket has the waffle weave that is terrific. I found that weave super comfortable on my bathrobe. It works great on a blanket too. With this blanket, we can stay covered up, without getting too humid under the covers. The weight and weave is just right for letting moisture escape, and the pure cotton fiber does not make you too warm. The dimensions of the queen size version are generous. It's noticeably larger than our other comforter. So there is ample blanket to keep you well covered--and to avoid "blanket wars" that can happen when you try to share a smaller blanket with your partner. The stitching on the edges is neat and the rich burnt orange color we chose looks great. It is sort of a slightly darker terracotta color. The only thing that remains to be seen about this blanket, is how easy is it to make the bed with it. The perpendicular grid patterning requires a bit more attention than usual to keep it straight looking.

At first I was hesitant to purchase this blanket because of some of the reviews on drying the blanket in the dryer. Some reviews said that the blanket gave off too much lint and almost ruined their dryer. I decided to order the blanket anyway. Before washing the blanket, I ran it on Air Dry for 30 minutes , there was not much lint at this point. Then I washed the blanket and put it in the dryer on medium for 30 minutes (I put it on a 30 minute cycle in case the lint was too much) at 30 minutes the blanket was not quite dry, the lint filter was full but no more than expected with a item of this kind. With the lint filter emptied, I set the dry for 30 more minutes, had about the same amount of lint as the first 30 minutes. I have to say that this blanket washed and dried perfect, it did not shrink and is very comfortable, light and warm. If you are concerned about drying the blanket, try it at 30 minute intervals, other than that the quality of the blanket is very nice. I would purchase this item again.

I really love this cotton waffle blanket. I've never had a cotton blanket before but saw this one recently and was intrigued. The other reviews are true, it does create a LOT of lint, but it seems like this is reduced by washing and drying over time. I've had it for a week and have washed and dried it twice. I'm having zero lint issues in my bed or room that I can see. Just make sure you clean out your lint trap after a dryer cycle!! I will say it did come with a loose thread or two like some other reviews showed. This doesn't really bother me, but can see why it might others. It's initially not a super soft blanket compared to some other materials but I also get the impression that will change with washing, drying, and natural wear. Its well made and seems like something you could have for years. And despite this I still find it super cozy! It's just soft enough and has a great breathable feel. My favorite way to sleep with it is on the outside of one of my softer blankets. I adore how it feels as a second layer and it looks so cute. It's not super thick but I don't believe it's supposed to be. I highly recommend if you're looking for a good cotton blanket!

This is the best blanket I have ever purchased. I love the waffle knit and how lightweight it is but how it keeps me warm and cool at the same time! It’s absolutely perfect. I bought it for my bed and I got a throw now as well. I’m recommending it to everyone because it’s so nice for such a great price. First wash and dry a ton of lint will come off but once you get past that it’s perfect!

I bought this blanket because I had one from years ago that I liked. This one was different though. I use it between a comforter and a sheet on my bed. When I got it , it was shedding from the beginning. I had to wash it 10 times before it stopped dropping big lumps of lint everywhere when carrying it from the dryer to my bed. I've never seen anything like this. After getting to a point where balls of lint weren't appearing all over my sheets its still managing to shed a little even after 10 washes. I'm not sure if it will stop. Has the quality gotten that much worse since the first one I bought a few years ago? I'll wash it a few more times and update the review if it ever reaches homeostasis (e.g. stops dropping lint and shedding).
