The value is worth it , there’s no shedding and I believe it’s durable overtime through washes and keeping the condition the same. When the blanket arrived it seemed like a decent quality and does have a soft feel. After washing it just once, the lint trap in the dryer was clogged with fuzz from the blanket, and the blanket lost some of it's weight.
