If you’re looking to layer your bed, this is the perfect middle blanket. It’s super light but adds the perfect amount of warmth. I washed it before I placed it on the bed and it washed great. Soft, warm and cozy. I have a goose down comforter inside of a duvet but it does hold body heat and because uncomfortably warm. This blanket is perfect for a chilly evening. It’s warm enough for winter without being too hot. Doesn’t shed and the quality is nice.

I love sleeping with a micro fleece blanket without a top sheet because of the snuggliness. But let's face it, they're made of polyester (plastic) and just don't breathe. Totally exacerbating night sweats. 🥵 When I found this generously sized, beautiful silvery grey cotton blanket, I was excited to order. Upon arrival I was shocked that the color is so perfect. You just never know with grey. Sometimes the hue is yuck. This is gorgeous! It has a nice, tight weave that I love because I don't get caught in it like I do with waffle weave. (My cat has snagged it.) It's soft. When I get into bed, I feel a luxury that makes me happy. Makes getting into bed feel good. Best of all, NO NIGHT SWEATS! web site called this a blanket. I think it is more like a sheet. The material is thin and what confuses me is having always called bedding a sheet, blanket and a quilt. Blankets were mid weight and quilts were heavy. for winter. This would require at least 2 layers plus a quilt to make a comfortable winter bed for warmth. ... show more

Will surely soften with use but still pretty soft out of the package. Color seems to be true to listing/description. Bit thinner than expected but perfect for summer or layering bedding. Will throw tons of lint for the first couple wash/dry cycles but that is to be expected with the fabric. No off-gassing really and washed well.
