Cozy, but not too hot

I really like this blanket. It does produce an incredible amount of lint in the dryer as others have reported. It's not as soft as your typical polyester blanket, but it does get softer the more you wash it. The one thing that really stands out to me about this blanket is that it doesn't retain much heat. So this blanket is perfect for people who tend to run hot or people who live in warmer climates. It's especially good for when you want to be covered up but you aren't necessarily cold. I love being under a blanket but sometimes they're just too hot. This blanket does not have that problem. It is also not very thick and is quite lightweight. The queen size is amazing for sharing with another person on the couch while you watch a TV show or movie, even if you aren't sitting right next to each other or super close together. You can share it with a friend or family member while still maintaining a comfortable distance on the couch. Same with pets. Overall, I love this blanket. If I were to purchase another blanket (because one can never have enough blankets), it would probably be this one in another size and color.

This blanket is exactly what I wanted! The king size fits my king bed perfectly. The color is gorgeous and the herringbone knit is beautiful without being too busy. The blanket is breathable yet warm. I washed it on cold, by itself, in a big, mesh laundry bag and dried it on low heat in the same bag, to prevent snags. Worked perfectly and it did not put off as much lint as I thought it would! Great purchase.

so far seems worth the money, holding up well

So far pretty good, writing an intial review after washing cold alone on gentle and drying on medium heat. It shed alot of lint in the dryer, but this is expected of most big cotton items like this. It seems very thick on your body but is breathable and sleeps well in hot texas summer nights with warm temperatures and high humidity. Its very soft after washing as well. Update after 3 washes, only real complaint is it gets ALOT of lint in the drier lint trap when you wash it. Its still extremely comfortable and soft. I notice many reviews stating pulled threads and other issues. Mine did not have any of these that i can see, nor are any developing after 3 washes, evenwith all the lint it leaves in the trap. There may be defective runs going out or getting too beat up in shipping and handling. They do ship these vacuum sealed in pretty thin boxes, so it wouldn't surprise me if some are being damaged by mishandling between manufacturer and Amazon or Amazon and customer or just in general at either's warehouses. Update: after using for a good bit i feel this blanket has good and bad days to its fabric softness, it maybe just me, but it seems it feels a little scratchy and a bit off on less humid days, but again, maybe just my skin or shower routine drying my skin causing this. Overall I'm happy with the blanket, its been durable and overall a good blanket. However, i am going back to a tried and true material i have used on my lower bed blanket for decades, fleece. I use this as an add on layer for warmth when needed. Its a good overall blanket. It does state handwash only on it, but wash it on gentle alone and dry on low/medium and it will wash in the easher and drier fine, this actually seems to help its overall feel. Showed where i have a bit of pilling in the photos, but not anything extreme like some state. Again, its a good extra layer blanket, especially in normally warmer climates like I'm in. Currently using it as top layer over my comforter to add more warmth with winter storm setting in hard this week in texas.

This blanket is ideal! My husband wanted something cotton that would breath, to use as a blanket. Very soft. Easy to launder. Doesn’t wrinkle. Looks very nice on bed. Would definite buy again.

Bleeds dye in the wash. Comfy during the heat wave, minimal pulled threads.

These loose weave cotton blankets are touted to be more comfy during heat waves. This was indeed but not dramatically so. I have had other cotton blankets with a looser weave that cooled better; but looser weave meant more pulled threads so I’ll take this. The weave was very pleasing BTW and it draped nicely. Wish it came in full size. The other issue is that the dye bleeds…a lot. I put it in the machine with a Shout Color Catcher and the catcher came out almost as blue as the blanket! Glad I didn’t wash it with anything white. Hope the bleeding dies down eventually so I don’t have to take such care. Too bad they didn’t add that extra step to make it color fast. Or maybe better dye? I also got a tan one so that’s 2 extra loads for me every month. Get what you pay for I guess.

Great Summer Blanket

These are fantastic for the summer when you want a blanket to sleep under but it's insanely hot outside. It's very breathable and comfy. I really like the colour of the blanket, and it seems pretty true to the picture. Our big dog sleeps with us too, so it's stood up to dog claws and fur as well. It takes a couple of washes to get the blankets to soften up, but once they do then you're in business. I recommend air drying them and then putting them through your dryer on low heat to finish the job.

Lightweight and comfy

I love this blanket and it's exactly what I was looking for, a nice added lightweight layer for warmer months when my duvet is too much but a sheet isn't enough, this and a sheet was perfect. I really like the herringbone weave design and little bit of texture it gives while still being soft and comfy. It's getting colder here and this blanket plus a sheet plus my duvet is soo cozy and warm. Quality of this blanket is great, I recommend!
