We bought this mattress because it had good reviews for pain relief. My fiancé has fibromyalgia and scoliosis and this mattress seems to have done the trick.

I weigh over 200 lbs & it holds firmly, but comfortably. There’s a 3-day waiting period before use to allow the mattress to fully form. The depth was true to size at 14 inches. The media could not be loaded. This Queen Hybrid Mattress by BedStory, is a very nice combination of the old spring mattresses and the more modern memory foam mattress. With its soft, but firm feel, in a box arrival, and handles if needed for moving, this is a worthy consideration. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – It feels like a higher quality mattress with a thick fabric outside, solid coils and a decent layer of foam for cushion. I’d put this one in the lower side of the upper tier and guess it’ll survive many night of great support. II. Performance – This section is very subjective, as so many of us require different levels of softness and support to achieve a high rating. I found this mattress to be very comfortable and inviting. It’s on the firmer side versus other mattresses I have that are all memory foam. I think this one would be ideal for someone who is prone to a sore back if it’s too squishy, but doesn’t like to feel the firmness. It comes conveniently in a box that is easy to move and get into the needed location, but a bit heavy as you can imagine. The included side handles can make any further moves of the mattress much easier. Overall – This a very nice mattress that effectively combines quality, comfort, and firmness to keep many backs from getting sore. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. If you’d find it helpful to see a visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen or landscape. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s a video! You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product.     • Quality hybrid mattress
Waited a while to get this. Delivery was pushed back couple of time. Box looked like it went through hell. Mattress inside was not damaged. It had double plastic wrapping. So that might have saved it. It is heavy. So, I recommend using team lift, which I failed to do. After you open the second layer of plastic that is vacuumed packed, it almost immediately starts to take shape. In about 30 minutes it took its proper shape. Got this for my guest room as old memory foam mattress was not as good as we hoped it would be. So this is a upgrade for sure. As for comfort, not as comfortable as my memory foam mattress. Not as sturdy as my memory foam mattress. It is however still comfortable. Especially when you factor in the spring. Takes getting used to. It is bit firm. But that's what we were looking for. I do like overall comfort and quality of this mattress. Not planning to replace my primary bedroom mattress with this one. But I would recommend for spare room or guest room. ... show more

    • NOT FIRM AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS TERRIBLE
We were looking for a firm mattress and this was well rated, reasonably priced and made in the USA. Our prior mattress was a bed in a box and was wonderful, so that was not off putting. This mattress finally arrived the second time I ordered it after a botched order where they sent a giant electronic white board instead of a mattress. We put it on the frame and left for a few days to go to our cabin. We were surprised that when we came back the sides of the mattress were still very flimsy and didn’t seem fully expanded. It was well over the recommended period for the mattress to rest so we made it up and started using it. When you sit on the side of the bed you sink right to the bed frame. It is very very very plush, not a firm mattress at all despite being marketed as extra firm. Our 10 year old mattress that we got rid of was medium firm and was exponentially more supportive than this mattress. We wanted to give it a fair shake thinking we might get used to it and find it comfortable. And after all, there was a 100 night trial. Long story short after close to 3 months we are sleeping on the floor while fighting with BedStory to take back this piece of junk. They have no intention of honoring the 100 night trial and recommended that we purchase a firm mattress topper - I’m not interested in investing more in a poor product that is not as advertised. I ordered an extra firm mattress, no reasonable person would think that to make an extra firm mattress firm you should also have to invest in a firm mattress topper and purchase all new linens to ensure they fit the addition of a topper. When I let them know this was not an acceptable solution, they offered me a one hundred dollar discount to keep the mattress. I have no intention of keeping a mattress I cannot sleep on comfortably. Their next suggestion was to name a partial discount I would accept. I’m not going to pay to “rent” this terrible mattress. I let them know that honoring the 100 night trial, accepting the mattress for return and a full refund was the only acceptable outcome for me since I need to once again buy a mattress. They have failed to respond so do yourself a favor and stay far away from this shady company. I wanted to love an American made product but if the company cannot stand behind what they sell or even honor what they advertise I’m out. Seriously, buy something else! ... show more
