Expanded quickly. Seemed to be fully expanded in less than 24 hours. I know the directions say to allow more time for full expansion but I was impressed with how quickly this fluffed up. Very comfortable. I would say medium firmness. I’m not a huge fan of memory foam mattresses, but I chose this hybrid option and I’m so glad I did! This mattress was easy to set up. It had a bit of an oder when first unpackaged. We let it air out and the smell is completely gone. It took about two hours to completely expand. It's a very nice looking and comfortable mattress! Well worth the money!

I just got this so I’m only a couple nights in. Feel like an unlocked a secret mystery prize in life. This mattress is awesome! I’m 200lbs & it has great support on sides, a little bit of spring from the firmness but yet it is still so comforting & plush. It was very heavy so it’s best to set on the frame to “decompress”. Ours took less than 2 hours, had a slight chemical scent at first but within 24 hours that was completely gone. We have had incredibly comfortable sleep since we purchased this bed. Highly recommended
