I purchased the ZIFFY 45W 5.5A Light-Up Electric Wiggle Car for my Pre-K classroom. Initially, I was going to give this product a four-star review due to its original price of $199.99. However, I've since seen the price lowered to $109.99, which I believe is a much more realistic value for this car. What initially attracted me to this vehicle was its unique style and features. Now that it has arrived, I'm even more impressed. The car boasts a range of engaging features, including dancing lights, a honking horn, and music. It offers both fast and slow electric drive modes, or children can propel it themselves, "Flintstone-style," by using their feet. There are seven different tunes, with several being educational. These include a rhyming and alphabet song, as well as a counting-to-ten rhyming song, helping children recognize letters and numbers on the go. Safety Features and Performance The safety features on this vehicle were well thought out. A child cannot easily switch the vehicle from slow to fast mode. There's a specific sequence of steps designed for an adult to manipulate, ensuring your child doesn't zip away unexpectedly. The vehicle itself is very sturdy and feels solid to ride on. In electric mode, it's quite zippy! I set it to its maximum speed, pressed the pedal, and wasn't prepared for how quickly it accelerated. While its top speed is just under 4 mph, its instant torque makes it seem much faster. Drawbacks Despite its many positives, there are a couple of drawbacks, which were the main reasons I didn't think it was worth the initial $199.99 price. The charger does not turn off automatically; the manufacturer recommends unplugging the car after a full charge to avoid damaging the battery. Speaking of the battery, it's quite small, providing less than an hour of electric range. At $200, I would have expected a larger battery and a better wall charger. However, once the battery is depleted, your child can still use this vehicle as a ride-on toy, propelling it with their legs. It rolls very easily with no noticeable resistance. Overall Impression In three words: Fun, fun, fun! My students absolutely love it. I appreciate that it teaches letters and numbers, and I feel secure knowing it's untippable and has great built-in safety features. The kids adore everything about it: its unique look, the lights, the music, the ease of driving, the torque, and the tooting horn. For the price it's now being offered at, it is well worth it!

This little scooter is a hit with my kids! I regret not getting two right away because they constantly fight over it, but since the seat is big enough, they both fit on at one time which seems to keep them happy. I did take off one star because some of the buttons, like the horn, are really cheap, for the price, Iād expect it to be louder or more substantial. The battery does last a good amount of time! Itās pretty quick and the kids have so much fun with it. It was very easy for them to figure out and control. I wouldnt really recommend it if you donāt have a cement/concrete driveway though because it doesnāt drive great on our gravel portion. But other than that this would make such a fun gift.

The ZIFFY Electric Wiggle Car is great. We had one little hiccup I'll mention at the end. The manual suggests quite a long initial charge and suggests a good deal of battery maintenance is involved to extend the life of the battery for the unit. Construction wise, these are great. They are able to handle a lot of weight rated up to 170lbs, which is fantastic for a children's toy. We selected this for a 6- and 12-year-old and they zip along quite nicely. My wife is able to enjoy this, but at 185lbs, I am beyond the spec for decent usage. The plastic quality and build are quite strong. Wife and children enjoyed these immensely. Now for the only hiccup, the steering wheel on a unit we had was installed "backward". This isn't a problem as the stirring wheel and front wheels work fine, it's just that there is a logo on the wheel. We had to get used to driving with the logo upside down. I couldn't find an easy way to swap around logo, so we just dealt with it. We also have a manual wiggle car, so I guess when you run out of juice with these, you can use just like a manual type. Also, not sure if this was intended, but when I brought the units inside, I held them by the steering wheel and set them standing up. So, these take up less space upright like luggage. Very nice.

Originally I gave this a bad review because it kept turning off on carpet but I figured it out and it's actually pretty cool now so here is my updated review: This cart is great for 3 year olds or genius level 2.5 year olds. I think 130lb and below is a more accurate weight rating and it rides best on hard surfaces. The little cart has some safety features built in that will turn it off like if your kid drives up to a wall and keeps their foot down on the accelerator the cart will power off to avoid burning out the motor, same thing will happen if there is too much weight on the unit. Simply slide the switch up, wait 3 seconds, slide it back down to the middle position, wait 3 seconds and it should be back to functioning normally. At full price of $199 it is worth it to see how happy it made the kids but these do seem to routinely sell for about $149 and some sellers have a more powerful 12v version but this one was plenty powerful for a 3 year old. There is even a faster mode, simply hold the lightening button for 5-10 seconds and the cart will make a noise letting you know it's in fast mode and it actually is faster. The unit came fully assembled, is very light weight and easy to move around. I had no problem picking it up with the kid still on it to reposition it a few times when she got too close to a wall. Overall: if you have a lot of concrete or flat surfaces in your backyard or a really big driveway your kid will love this!!
