Size:33.8 Fl Oz (Pack of 4) Not so long ago, you had to use a machete if you wanted a sip of pure coconut water. We’ve taken the machete out of the equation, which is good, because those things are dangerous. Now all that’s left is Mother Nature’s most hydrating, refreshing, vitamin- and mineral-rich nectar. Vita Coco is never made from concentrate. That means we pick, crack, and pack fresh young coconuts directly at the source. After the coconuts are cleaned, the delicate water inside is flash pasteurized (and occasionally mixed with all-natural fruit puree) then poured into a shelf-stable Tetra Pak. The entire process from tree to Pak doesn't exceed 72 hours. We hear the end result is a lot like sticking a straw in a coconut.

I rarely leave a review on Amazon, but this time I have to point out to those who is about to buy this product. Beware that you may receive a case of spoiled, sour, horrid-tasting coconut water. I have been buying all sizes of CocoVita coconut water, and this is the first time I tried out the 33.8oz bottles. I received a 6ct of 33.8oz each, and every single bottle contained yellowish, moldy coconut-like water. I was not sure if it was my tastebuds, so I poured the content into the sink, and I could see solid white substance flowing in this opaque-yellowish water. Amazon was very helpful, and sent me a replacement. YET the 2nd case was exactly the same as the first one. I have been ordering from Amazon for a very long time, and this incident is indeed very bothersome. I hope Amazon can check out the quality of this batch of coconut water, since the 2 cases have the same expiration dates ( April 2019) and both from Brazil.

As a very loyal and enthusiastic Amazon customer, my supply of Vita Coconut Water is delivered on a regular basis to our home. This most recent order arrived yesterday as expected, however upon opening the shipping box, I was surprised to see the inner box/case was open at the bottom - as in upon first attempt to lift the case out of the box - just the case came, leaving the six 1-liter bottles behind. Then upon removing those bottles, and after feeling wetness I was disturbed to see the tops, the pour from part of 3 of the 6 bottles, are damaged as in pour area cracked away from the remainder of each of these containers. Possibly the result of less than adequate packaging between the case and the shipping box.

Thought I was getting a good deal on the 33.8 cartons of coconut water w/ no sugar added. So disappointed at the taste. I’m unsure I can even describe it . I do keep coconut water on hand and buy a lot of it from Amazon . This particular brand taste as if it’s sour. There is no sweetness to it. There doesn’t seem to be an odd after taste. As much as I wanted to like this brand, It just seems as if something isn’t right about the flavor .

When I first got sick with COVID-19, a friend suggested this as an alternative to sports drinks (which I detest) as a natural source of electrolytes. I’ve been living in mostly just this for nearly a month now, and I’ve got to say it’s wonderful and has prolly kept me out of the hospital for dehydration. The only reason I gave a lower score for packaging is because it’s the multi-layer cardboardy stuff that’s impossible to recycle. I have no good suggestions for alternatives I’m afraid, because glass would be worse for shipping, etc. but other than this small quibble, this product is amazing and even tastes good now that I can actually taste it again. I got it when very I’ll, but it’s going to be a staple in our house from now on! I just set it up as a monthly subscription!!

This is my favorite coconut water 5 Stars for the product. 1 Star for the seller. I’m very ill and unable to eat, my nutrients are currently coming from this coconut water as it is the only thing I can keep down. This seller will not allow me to order anymore because they said my order of 4 cases of 6 liter bottles was all I’m allowed to have. I’m completely dependent on the vitamins and minerals that this coconut water has. This is one of the few brands that are not overly nutty, as the nutty brands make me sick. I have no idea what to do now as I’m home bound. Never imagined a seller would be able to tell you you ordered to much. Talk about feeling discriminated against for being sick and disabled

After about a year of using Subscribe & Save for this product, we had to cancel our subscription and move on to another brand. The packaging leaks and does not keep the product fresh. Some of this is on Amazon's shipping for shipping two boxes together instead of in their outer packaging (and frequently combining two very heavy boxes with bags of cereal that would end up crushed) and for shoving the box into our apartment building's hub lockers instead of delivering to door. But the core problem is still that the vita coco tetrapaks frequently leak. Sometimes I would realize ahead of time and be able to transfer to another container, losing ounces of product as it wouldn't pour cleanly. Sometimes the leak was small enough it just made everything in the box sticky but didn't spill outside the box. Sometimes the coconut water would go bad because of the unsafe seal, smelling and tasting awful. But this time takes the cake as you can see, the amount they leaked spilled into other lockers, destroyed everything it was shipped with. A giant mess.

Absolutely amazing. I was raised on fresh coconut water in the islands and this is the real deal. For best flavor dont drink it ice cold and you miss out on that full bodied flavor. I got scared over some of the reviews on freshness but there was no need to worry. We took it with us to the beach and camping this summer and enjoyed it immensely. This stuff is slowly reducing my soda intake. I feel healthier and have lost weight. I never realized that each 8 oz soda contains right about the max recommended daily sugar intake!! Please don't change a thing...please!!!

Been drinking this stuff off and on for years. I've come to realize there is a terrible lack of consistency in flavor between batches. When its good, it tastes incredible! refreshing and delicately sweet. But when it's bad, it's really bad, like spoiled milk. Recently I had been buying cases of 1L and three of the last four have tasted horrendous. I have also purchased a few cartons from a local Walgreens with the same exact problem. Will no longer be purchasing this product. will try other brands for now, but still a huge disappointment as this was fairly affordable and incredibly refreshing when its good...
