I never thought I'd like a bed in a box but, I love it so far! It is definitely firm and all of the aches and pains I used to have in the mornings aren't nearly as bad because I have a new mattress!!!!! I switch positions so that one spot or side won't wear out before the other side does. I'm a side sleeper lately so a firm mattress is a must. Everything thing that needs support is supported. I purchased this because it has real springs. I was worried when it arrived because it comes in a rolled up box like a cheap mattress. but it’s actually been a very comfortable mattress on par with mattresses costing of $1000 that I have owned previously.

I spent quite a bit of money on this particular mattress because so many others left positive reviews. I say “quite a bit of money” because there were hundreds of other mattresses that were so much cheaper. My husband and I unpacked it and set it on my king sized bed frame to fully inflate. Easy enough. After it sat for almost two full days, we noticed that it looked more like a mushroom than a regular mattress. The base of the mattress is more like a queen size with the topper for a king size. The king topper hangs over the base by a good 4”-6” on EVERY side. With that being said, sheets will not even stay on this mattress. Also, you can’t even sit on the edge of the bed without sliding off. Makes it pretty hard for me because I’m an amputee and have to sit on the edge of my bed to put my prosthetic on and take it off. I tried to get in touch with Bedstory about the severe lack of quality on this but it has been days and they still have not responded. I even tried several times to contact Koalasleep-US (the seller) and again, NOTHING! Do NOT waste your hard earned money on this mattress. You will most definitely be disappointed. WORST PURCHASE THAT I HAVE EVER MADE. ... show more

The mattress feels like good quality but from the day we got it (March '23) we felt it was not as firm as we had expected, but we stuck with it because of all the good reviews. But mattresses are tricky because everyone's needs are different. My existing back pain remained the same (despite my stretching extensively every morning), and I wrote that off as me being beyond saving. But about six months after we got the mattress, my wife started developing new debilitating lower back pain. A few nights on the couch and the pain was gone and the culprit found.
