I had been looking for a bed for a while when I came across Bedstory that had a Hybrid mattress and I was intrigued. It talks about 7zone pain relief and they are not lying! I am glad that I took a chance on a bed that didn’t have many reviews. I waited the three days to allow for it to get to the allotted size. I will say that I am glad that I didn’t get the extra firm mattress because I am so happy with the firm one that I got. It is so comfortable. I sleep on my back and I don’t move during the night and I do not wake up stiff or hurting at all. My husband is a toss and turn all night type of sleeper but, he doesn’t bother me which is WONDERFUL!! The quality, durability and softness is better than some thousand dollar beds on the market. This was the best purchase of my life. I had no idea what I was going to get for such a low price. I was sleeping on a 1400 dollar Casper mattress for the last 5 years and it was horrible. It had no support. I woke up stiff and my entire body ached everyday. My back, shoulders and hips were in agony. I have had significant injuries to all those areas including shoulder surgeries. I am a 5'11 215lb man for reference. Now to the Bed Story. It is heaven to my body. I feel so much better in the morning. My body is not aching as much. I love the strong edge support. It is great for stomach or back sleeping. If I do sleep on my side, my hips no longer hurt in the morning like my previous mattress. It is very firm but has a nice layer of softness. I am so happy with this mattress. Honestly, I can't thank this company enough for providing such a quality mattress at such a low price. I was going to buy a 2500 dollar mattress before I took a gamble on Bed Story and hit the jackpot. Thank you. My dog loves it too. Lol ... show more

Said medium firm in description but definitely FIRM. Not uncomfortable but I will have to add a foam topper to sleep on this. That said, it’s easier to add softness with a topper than it is to make a mattress firmer so this is probably the way to go. Quite heavy. Requires two people or one quite strong one. No noticeable odor. Expanded quickly. Seems to be of good quality. I plan to put a fully zippered cover on it to protect it.
