Im not going to negate this bed because it is EXACTLY what I ordered. A VERY firm bed. After mattresses consistently being softer than normal, I assume this would be the same. Boy was I wrong! As a larger couple we needed the support of a firm mattress, however if I could turn back time, I probably would have just gotten the normal firmness. Nothing a memory foam topper hasn't fixed for us though. The quality is fantastic for the cost. The edge support is amazing. We opted for the 14" mattress for added height and it filled our bedframe perfectly. It was nearly fully expanded mere hours after opening, no weird smells, no difficulties other than the fact we opened it upside down. Whoops! It is quite heavy to move ,so open it where you want it! Overall I've gotten the best supported sleep I've had in years. Maybe I'll update in a year to see how it's held up, but even if we get one year out of this mattress, it was well worth it.

I read the reviews and I’m not gonna lie I was a little nervous to order this bed because there were a lot of views of people saying it’s not firm. Unfortunately I do believe that the reviews are combined because you can select several different types of mattresses, so there’s no way to know which bed model people are referring to. So to clarify this is the bed I got “ BedStory Firm Queen Mattress 14 Inch - 7-Zone Hybrid Mattress Extra Lumbar Support - Deep Sleep Pain Relief Contouring Bed in a Box - 365-Night Trial, Fiberglass-Free, CertiPUR-US Certified” and it is definitely firm! My boyfriend is a bigger guy and we can only fit a queen size in our room. It’s challenging not to sink into the middle and most beds. I went to three different stores prior to buying this mattress, not only were they triple the price but none of them compared to the comfort or firmness of this one, I barely pull toward him when he’s in the middle. It was actually a little too firm for me, I have tender pressure points on my bag as I deal with chronic pain. I ended up putting a 2 inch memory foam topper on it and it’s absolutely perfect. I’ve had the fed for two weeks and my pain has noticeably improved from having a firmer mattress. I like that this bed has springs, but it’s still a hybrid. Spring mattresses are so important for support especially when you have back pain. Is it the best mattress I’ve ever slept in? No. But for $303 after tax I’d stay this was a great value!

I never thought I’d say this, but this $350 mattress from Amazon absolutely crushes the $3,000 mattress I bought in-store at Mattress Firm. After moving and needing a king-size bed so my very tall boyfriend (6’7”) and I (6’1”) could finally sleep together comfortably, I decided to take a gamble and buy my second-ever “mattress-in-a-box” online. I had a great experience with the first one I ordered from Amazon, so I figured: why not try again? At the same time, I had recently purchased the Beautyrest Black® Series Three Plush Pillow Top from a store — a mattress that a slick salesperson talked me into because it “matched our preferred firmness.” Sure, it was decent. But for that price tag? Totally underwhelming. Enter: BedStory’s 12” Firm Hybrid Mattress. This thing blew us away right out of the box. It’s supportive without being stiff, has amazing pressure relief (especially in the lumbar zone), and feels far more durable and well-constructed than my $3,000 mattress. The 7-zone support is no gimmick — we both wake up with less back stiffness and deeper sleep every night. Bonus points: It’s fiberglass-free, CertiPUR-US certified, and has a 365-night trial (which I highly doubt we’ll need because we’re already obsessed). Setup was a breeze, and it expanded to full size quickly with no weird odors. If you’re on the fence — don’t be. This mattress is a hidden gem. I’ll be recommending it to everyone I know.

Good for the price and my son says it’s comfortable but it is way too bouncy for me. It is a medium firm at most not firm and if there is another person lying down you can definitely feel them move. Again my son is happy with it, it is well made and was v easy to unwrap without any strong odors but just too bouncy for me!

The mattress is absolutely beautiful. It exceeded my expectations with its quality, durability and form. Word of caution.. It is tightly rolled up for packaging and it does not need 24 hours to expand. While cutting back the packaging, it literally burst free from its containment into its full form and beauty. It was a mighty force so be careful and step back to allow its sudden leap into freedom so as to not knock anybody over. It is a stunning mattress and I highly give it a perfect score.

I definitely give this bed 5 stars!! I never leave reviews but I had to for this one. It has only been 3 nights of sleeping on it but I slept on this mattress the night after a procedure on my neck. I slept all night without any discomfort!! So far I'm successfully recovering from my procedure with the help of the comfort of this bed. My husband is 6'3 200lbs, I'm 5'5 140lbs and my dog is a medium sized dog. We all slept so deep through a massive storm. We woke up to emergency alerts on our phones about the massive storm. We didn't even hear the hail falling on the house. I'm very picky and had purchased a really expensive one before and we had a Sealy as well. This one definitely beats a $2,000 mattress! For Firm mattress lovers. Stop looking and give this one a try. It's so worth it. Definitely wait the full 72 hours to allow to expand.
