We purchased it to replace a 3 year old Sealy Posturepedic Hybrid that was supposed to be firm which turned out to be not that firm and actually aggravated my back. I need firm for my back and with the Sealy I would wake up with back pain every morning. We were weary about purchasing a mattress sight unseen but this one received so may positive reviews we gave it a shot. Glad we did! This bed is actually firm and has fantastic support but is also extremely comfortable. We've been using it about a week so far and I now wake up with zero back pain! None!! The quality is on par with pricier brands. This mattress arrived just 2 days after ordering even though it said it would be 5 days!! There was no odor after opening and we let it "breathe" for 48 hours before using it, although it looked fully expanded after one day. I would put this up against a more expensive mattress any day.

Wow very good product. Packaged well and built well. The comfort that it provides is top notch. I just threw out a serta mattress that was less than three years old. This 14” mattress is very firm but very comfortable ! I will buy this brand as long as it is available.

This bed is the real deal! I do recommend it! I purchased the medium firm and it is perfect. I woke up this morning and the first thing I anticipated was the back ache. Very very slight! 😊😊😊 This is the bed for me. As my body adjusts to it I’m sure my back ache will be alleviated. This affordable, plush bed replaces a 13 year old bed. 😏. This bed is sooooo worth it. I've been sleeping on this for a week. It's VERY firm , and leaves me tossing and turning with hip pain. It seems to be solid with good edge supports it appears to be made/assembled by Somnus International in Spartinburg, SC. It seems well made. However the diagram featured on Amazon shows a foam layer below the coils, but they are directly agoasnt the fabric. I don't know If this was an error, but regardless, I don't know well the coils will hold up on the bottom against cloth. It seems a good value, but imo the top layer ia too thin and not enough to support side sleeping. I think adding a topper would make this a good sleep, but doing so seems to defeat the purpose buying a new mattess. I'll try to give it a couple more weeks, but if my hip gets worse and i'm showing some signs of back pain that didnt have with my old matress, I may have to return. Note that am 250lbs and it is so firm I barely put a dent in thr top. Hopefully it breaks in because my sleep quality right now isn't much above a fosm camping mat. But it does seem solidly constructed... except for the coils directly on bottom material. If it had more plush pillowtop I might be happy for the price. This matress is heavy suggesting strong coil construction. Also, it arrived in 1 day! I'm giving it 3 stars now for being too firm, not sleeping well, and no foam bottom layer. Solid points for customer service(so far) shipping speed and otherwise solid construction at a reputable factory in the US. Seems a good value if really really firm is what you want. I'll update in a couple weeks.

I feel a responsibility to leave a review for this mattress. I previously had a really plush, pillow top mattress. About 6 months ago I started experiencing lower back pain. I lift weights a lot so I assumed I strained my back at the gym. I managed the pain for a few months and thought I was past it and then about a month ago I got sciatica. Intense pain, could barely walk for weeks. It never occurred to me that my mattress was too soft until I found some relief from sleeping on the floor. I researched a lot of mattresses specifically for back issues and was skeptical of a compressed mattress being high quality, but I took a chance with this one and I’m very glad I did. All of my back pain is gone and my sciatica has completely cleared up as well. Apparently a soft mattress puts a strain on your back muscles and discs that make you really susceptible to a lot of issues, especially for stomach and side sleepers. This mattress is firm, very supportive and surprisingly comfortable. It expands well and is good quality. I definitely recommend this if you’re looking for something to help with lower back or sciatic issues. Cheers.
