We were experiencing ongoing back and hip pain on our level 4 plush purple mattress. We went around to a few local stores to find a firm mattress, the only one we liked ended up being $2600. We figured we'd order one online to see how it would compare, and I'm so happy we did! This mattress is VERY FIRM, but that's what we wanted. After two nights on it our back and hip pain are basically gone. Highly recommend to anyone in the same situation! We let it expand for 9 hours and then slept on it with no issues. We were able to get it up stairs pretty easily with two people, though it is a bit heavy, so you'll need someone to help you out. Set up was honestly very easy. The mattress is a true king size.

Great mattress! I had no idea a boxed mattress could be so comfortable! I was sceptical about it because a king size was so much cheaper in price than store bought ones. But when I slept on it for the first time I got a better night's sleep than I've had in years on my old one! I did not toss and turn as usual nor wake up thru the night nor wake up with the usual stiff and sore back. I'm wonderfully surprised at the quality and comfort this great mattress is! Forget spending hundreds or thousands on a store bought one! You're only buying a name! I'm very happy with it and glad I bought it!

I am a 250lb guy. This mattress is excellent! I was really concerned purchasing a mattress on Amazon without even trying it out. You will not be disappointed. This mattress is extra firm just like the product states. I am pretty critical of any mattress due to my back pain. I will continue to see if this mattress helps eliminate tension off my spine. If you think the mattress is to firm you can always add a foam topper. No bad smell. You will need two people to move the 14 inch as it is heavy. I’m looking forward to spending the weekend in bed.

It is definitely firm. It has just plumped up. It seems like a nice mattress I guess only time will tell if it loosens up a bit. i was going to try to put this on a box spring....uhhhhh no way would that have worked. Put it on a metal platform bed and thank God its heavy steel platform. This mattress is so heavy, so, so heavy. I hope you have help to get this thing out of the box and when you do get it out I hope it is facing the right way (on the top of the pillowtop). I gave it 4 stars because of the weight and strength to get this thing on. I slept on it last night and it is one of the best sleeps in a long time. My other mattress was old, saggy, and medium strength. I always had a backache! I hope this mattress lasts it was such a good price!

This mattress is a AMAZINGLY comfortable. I'm a retired Fire Fighter. We are known for developing back issues simply because of the nature of our work. I have had our mattress for a month now. After sleeping on the mattress for 3 to 4 days I noticed an immediate obvious difference. I was waking up with no back pain and I felt more rested. This mattress is a game changer INDEED. We have the 14" King firm. The mattress does not register or transfer the movement of your partner to your sleeping space. Wonderful comfort. I was SOOOOOO surprised this kind of quality coming from a boxed product. The is box heavy though. Get help if needed.
