  • Looks great, easy to use, easy to reset if you’ve made a mistake
Size: 17.3" x 393" Color: Black and Gold
If you just want to know if it’s worth the money, no need to read the rest of my paragraphs, those are for people curious of how I installed it. It’s very much worth the money. It looks gorgeous! I included photos, the before, the after, and the picture of the wall half covered is how much the largest roll covers on an 8 foot wall. It actually covers more, but to have the pattern match, you’ll waste several inches on every run. Also it will get finger prints on it. Just FYI. It’s a bit shiny so they’ll show up. But with a damp rag they come off. I inherited a hoarder house, it’s been a PROCESS to make it livable. But after finally getting things cleared out and cleaned up, it was time to start the remodel, and I figured the entryway was the best place to begin. I found this wallpaper on aN.A. on and it’s beautiful but I do have some thoughts and tips for anyone buying. Here are some things I would suggest using that will make this process easier and safer: I used a Werner folding aluminum scaffold. If you’re going floor to ceiling, or anywhere high up, this is a must. I found mine used on Facebook marketplace for $40, however they’re sold at Home Depot and online for about $100. They have a high weight limit and it’s about 3 feet long which allows me to walk side to side on it with some stability instead of using a step stool, I’m 300 pounds and step stools don’t cut it for me. I would suggest using a ceramic blade box cutter. I used a box cutter with a carbide blade, and while it worked great, it worked TOO great and there’s some areas where as I was trimming off excess (because of course the edge of my wall isn’t straight) I actually cut through paint and sheet rock. Quickly. A ceramic blade is still sharp but a good bit more gentle. If you’re in a rental, this might be a good option for you so you don’t create damage you’ll have to pay for later. I thought one large roll would do the trick, but on an 8’ wall you will have a lot of waste to match the design up. Which meant I had to cut 6-8 inches off of every end to match the wall paper on the next run. I did include a photo (the 3rd photo) of how much the largest roll will cover. I did end up buying a second roll which came the next day. It was a perfect match, no issue in design, it lined up perfectly. While I did use a razor and a straight edge, the back has a grid which makes cutting it straight much easier. I let the wallpaper roll all the way to the ground, lined up the right edge with the design on the left edge of the previously installed wall paper, then held the slack at the edge of the ceiling and cut about an inch long cut horizontally (parallel with the ceiling) at the ceiling, then brought it down to my scaffold and took my straight edge (a long ruler works as well, anything straight that’s about 24 inches long or so works), located the horizontal cut I had made, lined it up and cut across with my box cutter. Scissors will work as well, I have popcorn ceilings, those ceilings have asbestos, and I’m not made of money. So my lines up top weren’t perfect. I made sure when I had the rough amount needed that the right edge of the roll as it was sitting on the floor was even with the left edge of the last run of wall paper. This makes it easier to keep it lined up all the way down. As it’s not being slightly pulled to the left or right. I then started by peeling the back off about 8 inches from the end, stuck it up on the wall at the top, made sure it aligned, smoothed it on with my hand, careful to make sure that the lines were lined up, held one hand against the paper and began to peel the backing off from behind slowly to make sure I didn’t go off track. Once enough of it stuck to where it didn’t feel like it was going to tug off, I could start peeling with both hands from each side of the wallpaper. Stopping regularly to smooth it down against the wall for it to adhere. It easily peels back off if you’ve made a mistake, and it sticks down just as firmly as it did before. I wouldn’t say it’s idiot proof, but it certainly allows you to learn how to do it without destroying your wall or the wallpaper itself if you made a mistake. Once I got about 3/4 of the way down the wall, of course the backing paper is everywhere so I trim it off, then continue to peel the rest of the backing down to the bottom of the wall. At the baseboard I was pushing the paper against it, molding it against the baseboard seam where it lines up to the wall, it’s thin enough to just use your finger nail to run at the seam of the baseboard and the wall to cut through the paper. Remember, there’s a few inches that will be wasted, so you can have your cut straight with the baseboard (which in some old homes like mine ISN'T straight) and not have to worry if the cut will cause the next strip to be wonky at the ceiling. Now, if you’re like me, it’s not going to be perfect. It’s not going to be totally professional. My issue was at some of the seams, there’s still white showing. A tiny tiny bit of the wall behind showing between the seams. And it’s noticeable because I bought black wallpaper. My solution was a sharpie. Just coloring in the seams did the trick. It blends it well enough that you can’t tell, even standing up against it that it’s there. Now, there is some glue you can use sold on here if it’s not adhering well, I will be using it in the future, I didn’t use it at the time because I’ve never hung wallpaper before and lord knows I knew I would screw it up! Since I live in Texas and it’s humid, and my walls are shifting from the drought constantly, I know this wall paper is gonna come down eventually on its own if I don’t apply the glue. But for the time being, I just wanted mine to look better. I always hated the wallpaper it had in it. It was old, dry, nicotine stained from being chain smoked in by multiple people for 40+ years, and clawed at by cats. ... show more

  • Trash/Basura. All negative reviews were correct.
Size: 17.3" x 118" Color: Dark Blue and Gold
I purchased these knowing the complaints about the product. I was hoping I would be one of the lucky ones and get a good batch. I wanted to do a single accent wall, and chose this product because of the pattern and the price. I wanted another product, but it was twice as much. I should have purchased that one. You get what you pay for, I know. I experienced every complaint written in all the negative reviews. I ordered seven rolls, a couple extra, just because of all the trouble I read others experienced regarding how the print was different. This didn't help. See below. Issue #1: I ordered seven rolls. I got 3 different hues of blue. Two were correct, dark navy. Two were a slate blue. The last three, a light blue. I pretty much got the spectrum of blues. You could barely see the gold in the light blue. Issue #2: The two dark rolls were made of very thin paper. I was unable to use a squeegee. I had to use my hand to smooth out the wallpaper. And even then, you could easily rip the paper. The slate blue paper was slightly heavier than the dark blue. The light blue was made of good thick paper stock. Why three different blues on three different paper stock for the same item? Issue #3: Because I had to use my hand to smooth out the bubbles, the blue color rubbed off on the palms of my hand. Issue #4: Only for two rolls, the dark blue ones, did the patterns line up. No other rolls lined up. I wasted 8 hours of my life trying to get this wallpaper up. By luck the first two rolls that I opened happened to be the two dark blue ones and they lined. Took some time to get them up, after I saw how easily the rolls ripped. Then I tried to make it work with the slate blue, when I realized that these did not lined up with the dark blue, or each other. By then I was really frustrated because I had opened 4 rolls and taken off the backing to hang them up. I was determined to find a way to put them up, since I had wasted so much time on them. I opened the three light blue rolls to confirm they were the incorrect color and that's when I noticed they were made of heavier stock, and that their pattern did not line up with each other or any other roll I had. I wish I could return them all, but I opened up four. I also wish I could make the seller refund me the 8 hours of my life wasted on their subpar product. I am returning the 3 light blue rolls. I think I'll buy a gold marker, and draw in the missing flowers on the rolls I kept. Othewise, I'm going to take them down and throw them in the trash. My advice for anyone planning on purchasing this product. Open it up, and unroll ALL your rolls, and make sure they align. Check the colors are the same across the items, and that the same paper stock is used. If not, you can quickly roll it back up, and return them. Don't waste your time and money like I did. Shame on this seller. ... show more

  • this is a great thick quality product
Size: 17.3" x 590" Color: Dark Teal and Gold
this was a great thick quality product and looks amazing only issue we had was there was about two feet of it that got stretched and even small hole in the middle of the roll . we turned around and next day primed shipped another roll and fixed the one strip that was willy wonky and now looks wonderful. I do believe it was a well-made product just looks like there was a issue on the machine in that spot during rolling and don't blame maker unless they had fully unrolled the roll had no way of knowing. It lines up super easy and can be peeled and unpeeled if you need to make adjustments while laying it goes on super smooth and quickly and really made a statement, the color is darker green with hints of blue still a very similar color just I would say a bit more bluish then I thought it would be however not enough to make a difference, still matched everything great and looks wonderful ... show more
