Let me first say I read the comments and reviews. So regarding the person who said her body shape made the topper sag after 5 days, made me wonder if they had the firm side and not the extra firm side up. We couldn't exactly tell which side was up, the firm side or the extra firm side. We put a heavy weight on both sides to verify which side was which. Just like the photos show the difference between the firm side and the extra firm side, the heavy weight did the same thing. It came with the firm side up so we opened the slip cover and turned it around. And just as another reviewer had said, it was really easy to open the mattress slip and turn it over. Others have said that it has an odor, which I don't think it has at all. I had an issue at first, which was my own mistake. I contacted the company and they quickly issued a refund and reordered another for me. I was sure I had been sent a twin size topper, but once I relized my mistake, they fixed everything they way it originally was ordered. The reason I thought I had a twin instead of a queen was because even though it was obviously packed by a machine I couldn't tell that it was folded in half. (no way to get it into that box otherwise) So far I haven't slept on it a lot yet, but as soon as I laid on my back, it was obvious relief. So far I am very happy with my purchase.

Bought this last week because my old mattress topper was no longer supportive. This one really is. Yes, there was a strong odor right out of the box, but I let it air out for a few hours and by the time I headed for bed the odor was gone. My old mattress topper never provided the firm support this one does. I used to walk up to turn over because it was soft memory. Now, I sleep through the night and turn without waking. My spouse picked out another version of by this same company and it was labeled as firm, mine is extra firm. There is a difference. The firm has more give but is still supportive. The extra firm has just a little give, which is just right for me. My hips feel better along with my neck. Just one week using it and I can tell I'm sleeping better. I'm not sure how long it will hold up, but it looks like it's very good quality. I usually replace the mattress topper every two years.

I bought this to go on top of my old memory foam mattress that was starting to sag. I’ve been thru so many beds! I got mine from a friend and I love it! But can’t afford a new mattress of the same kind so I started looking at toppers. After 3 different ones that were too soft I got this one. I’ll start off my saying that I have spinal stenosis, 2 bulging discs, and a spinal cord stimulator in my back. I would wake up in the morning and my back hurt so much my legs would shake. I’ve been sleeping on this for about 2 weeks maybe.. and what a difference! I love this! There wasn’t that strong of an odor. Not like some of the reviews I read. And I love that one side is firm and the other is extra firm! I’m hoping it holds up well. But so far I’m very pleased with this topper!!

It says 48 to 72 hours to expand. We went 60 hours. Easy to unpack and deploy, no odor at all. Off to a solid start. We flipped it in its cover right off, to the firmer side. The cover zips on three sides, so it’s easy to flip from FIRM to FIRMER. Making up words here… The cover is slip resistant on the bottom and the straps secure it well. No moving around once installed. As mentioned, we started on FIRMER and boy they are not kidding. It’s firm- but not horrible. We like it. Just flipped over to the other side, and just a bit less so. Just to compare. We wanted firm and certainly got it. We don’t weigh a lot though, at 155 and 90 our combined weight equals a robust adult male. Very supportive. I’ve been more comfortable regarding back pain in the few days we’ve had it, and we’ve both slept better. Our original mattress isn’t wimpy soft either, but this is much better. Hope it lasts. That’s the one assessment we can’t make at this point, but well done so far and pleased with the purchase. It is exactly as we had hoped.
