Listen, y'all....I don't do "rave reviews." (well, seldom ever, to be exact) I'm doing one now in regards to this BedStory 2 Inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper. This was not an impulse purchase. I researched. I read 432,567 reviews of mattress toppers. I'm old. My parts hurt. I bought this mattress topper, put it on my bed, waited a few hours (nope...didn't do the 24-48 hrs recommended) then got into my bed. As previously stated, I'm old. I don't party anymore, I don't have many pleasurable vices left in my life, I seldom drink (if you don't count wine) I have parts that were hurting me that I previously didn't even know I had. ONE NIGHT of sleeping on this slice of heaven has soothed a good portion of my painful parts. I now have a new pleasure. My bed actually feels soooo good that I hurry and make it in the morning to deter me from getting back into it before nightfall. It's cool. It's plush. It's just absolutely yummy. I did buy a new mattress cover/pad to go over it, as this one doesn't come with a covering. I'd suggest you do the same. Three years ago, I bought a new couch. As soon as I sat on it, I knew it was the right one. It swallowed me in and was very comfortable. Well, it began to get less comfortable as the seat cushion foam began to lose it's strength. I thought about taking the seat cushions to a reupholsterer and imagined an expensive job. So I thought about doing it myself with mattress topper foam ... not the egg crate style but foam that was the same thickness throughout. Lucky for me, the seat cushions had zippers so after taking a look inside, it appeared possible. After unpacking and allowing the mattress topper foam to "rise" for 24 hours, I cut it to the sizes I needed and stuffed it in-between the existing foam sections like a hamburger on a bun. I now have a very comfortable couch again for very little expense. All you need is the right amount and thickness of the foam and a very sharp blade to cut it. This mattress topper is hard and you won’t be able to move. I requested a return per their return policy and their answer was to purchase ANOTHER topper to put on top of this one. If I’m going to buy another topper it’s gonna be one that works for me so WHY would I need 2?? My guess is they don’t want to follow through on their return policy because they didn’t reply to my email and it’s been over 24 hours.
