This is a beautiful bed frame with a headboard and footboard. My husband and daughter put it together and it took them about an hour and a half. The instructions were a little too abstract, but they got it together and it looks nice. Very sturdy, no squeaking or wobbling. The only drawback for me is that the color looks black, rather than dark brown and one of the pieces has a slight crack in it. The company already reached out to me, so I will resolve that with them. Just built so will update if ANY issues moving around or squeaking, but at this point doesn't seem like it will. Is solid and has a lot of good support. Took about 30 minutes with 2 people (much easier with 2!) And the headboard is actually 2 pieces that have good wooden support brackets behind it to brace it. Comes with 2 small wooden blocks so it fits up against wall. For us in an antique house with windows and large trim behind the bed, we will need to custom make some. The blocks would be helpful in any modern home, though! There is also velcro along the slats that keep them in place, as well. Wanted an antique bed with the perks of a platform bed/silent movement. This seems to check every box (besides its not actually vintage, but looks it and is heavy duty) ... show more

This bed is gorgeous once put together and beautiful in our space. It felt really solid once we got it put together and no squeaks or other noises. It is extremely heavy and one of the panels had a crack in it. We were worried initially that it would impact the stability, but needed a place to sleep that night, so couldn’t wait to deal with a refund, etc. We were able to get it togetherand the crack did not cause any issues. We had difficulty moving it with two people, but were able to roll it onto a pair of flat dollies to get it to the bedroom. I don’t know what we would’ve done if we had to get it to a second floor room!! Probably taking it apart and carried it up piece by piece. Overall, quite happy with this bedframe. ... show more
