It really gives optimal humidity that helps relieve cough and congestion due to dry air during winter time. Also, it is compact that fits even in a small shelf or side table. Light enough to transfer from one room to the other. Easy to use and clean and it is dishwasher friendly too. And the water tank is easy to refill. The media could not be loaded. I have used this humidifier for three nights now. I love the fact that it can be cleaned in the top rack of the dishwasher, and that it has a replaceable filter. What I was most concerned about with a humidifier, was that I did not want visible moisture on windows or surfaces. This humidifier adds moisture to the air without heat! I love that. Most humidifiers we have used, add steam to the air which builds up on windows and surfaces. This Canopy humidifier does not do this! The Canopy humidifier includes an essential oil scent so it can be used as a diffuser at the same time. Another benefit is the compact size of this model. It fits in smaller spaces. The tank is a generous size though, and can run for up to 36 hours. You don’t have to fill the tank completely if you just want to run it for a shorter period of time. It shuts off automatically when the tank is empty. This feature helps it to prevent bacterial growth from standing water. I can recommend this product as I feel it is beneficial for use in adding necessary moisture to the air. ... show more

This bedside humidifier has been a great addition to my daughter’s bedroom. They experienced a lot of dry mouth and snoring previously but since we started using the new Canopy humidifier I’ve noticed a lot less snoring and no sneezing at night. The room feels different and the air is very different in their room vs the rest of our house. We love the essential oil that came with the humidifier, it has a light smell. Set up was a breeze and it took very little time to notice a difference overall. I want a second unit for my son’s room. I truly love it. I really, really wanted to love this humidifier, but it just doesn't live up to all the hype. If I'm going to be honest, I'm enraged at the bogus claims that these units produce sufficient humidity to provide any help for the skin. These claims are why I purchased this and a second directly from Canopy. The fact is, both of these units *together* don't produce nearly enough to increase RH by any real measure. For instance, during our cold snap I'd wake up to 25%. My goal is to have an RH of at least 40%. Not even close. Yesterday it barely broke 30%. So I added two Levoit humidifiers to the mix. THEY increased RH to 35% within an hour. If you want to buy into Canopy's claims and throw your money way, have at it, but to me, I could have used the $300 I spent on two units to buy at least 6 more Levoits. Added 1.21.2024- I was luckily able to start a return of one unit to Amazon. I gave the other to my daughter in the hopes it provides some relief in one of their smaller rooms. ... show more

I’ve been using this humidifier for 2 months now! I initially ordered it after being hit hard with seasonal allergies & a ton of flu like symptoms as it got colder and dryer where I live. I was interested in investing in a nicer humidifier. This one appealed to me because of its use of filters! There’s no need to buy distilled water - you can fill it up in your sink and it filters everything. I did notice improvement in my symptoms pretty much immediately after using it, and I genuinely have not had any flu/cold symptoms since using it regularly. My skin has also been doing really well the past month of so, but I have changed a lot of my products as well so its hard to say if this has been the sole game changer for my skin. Some people mentioned the sound being too loud, but I don’t mind the white noise. Only on the highest setting have I found it to be a bit loud, but on its “automatic” mode, it’s only on the medium setting at night which I don’t mind. Because of its use of filters, you do have to regularly purchase them. The biggest con for me (and the only reason I have it as 4 stars) is that here on amazon, the filters are much more expensive than they are on the canopy website - and on their website, you can ONLY purchase the filters through signing up for a subscription. In the fine print it says the subscription has to renew three times before you can cancel it. I just think this is a bit cheeky & annoying! I want to be able to purchase them without subscribing or committing to spend so much extra. I just didn’t anticipate spending as much as I have overall on this, but if I had known ahead of time I don’t think it would have been as big of a deal. I really have been impressed with how this humidifier has helped me through the dry winter so far, though! The essential oils it comes with smell amazing. I love that it’s dishwasher safe too. Also - Canopy’s website has a great q&a section that walks through any questions about how the humidifier works. When I researching, I was definitely confused about how this humidifier worked fully based of other reviews, but their website really helped clear up any questions I had. This is a great quality humidifier. I love the look and function. It has zero mist evaporation technology so it doesn’t get surroundings all wet. It runs smoothly and doesn’t bubble up, so it acts as great white noise. Highly recommend!
