  • Does the job, minor defect
Color: White Size: 2 Pack
I have two bathrooms, one where there is a shower and one with a separate toilet room wher eI want this feature. Shower being the kids bathroom where the light is always left on. The one with the shower I wanted a long delay so I installed it and saw the default 15s and decided to up it to 30m. Long delay in case someone is in the shower not seen by the sensor. On install, it does take a minute to initialize and thats fine. Go in, out, wait 15s it goes off, in out, its fine. If you switch the light off it will take a minute before it recognizes movement again. It would suck to choose to turn it off and have some minor movement as you leave turn it back on again. I think thats good, you can always use the switch to turn it back on. That switch was perfect, it has 15s and it had the 10, 20 and 30m. But the other one where I put it in a toilet room alone the 15s is actually 7 minutes. I figured maybe its mis-wired and the lower notch is 10m with the 15s at one of the other notches but when I saw the one was some oddball 7 minutes I decided to just leave it. I still havent looked at the other delay choices to see if one is 15s because 7 doesnt match any of the other listed delays and Im lazy. Technically if I want this one to be 15s delay, and I do, I could swap out the other switch. But that means taking two apart and putting two back in again. I'll live with 7 minutes or Ill just turn the switch off each time. Its not a room I go in and out of all the time and the purpose for this switch is to deal with the situation where I forget to turn the light off. Still, its a defect, just not one I care enough about. I do think I would purchase these again and take that risk. Time will tell how they hold up. Thing is I have LED bulbs anyway, I doubt Im saving money over the life of ownership buying these switches vs paying for the lights staying on when I dont want them, but its a feature added to the house and I like it. ... show more

  • Works well, timer is difficult to set
Color: White Size: 2 Pack
This product works well for high and low voltage applications. Our pantry light is 10v and bathroom is 120v. It works perfectly in both. It was much easier to install than previous products I have tried. The problem with the product is while attempting to set the timer. Like most products it is controlled by a small dial, adjusted with a small screwdriver. I wanted to set the timer to 4-5 minutes but couldn’t make it work, no matter how minor the adjustment to the dial. It would jump from around 30 seconds to 10 minutes and I couldn’t get it to set between those numbers. Maybe it is a feature and not a glitch, but the instructions were not clear about that. If the timer was more important to me, I would have returned the product. ... show more

  • Good looking motion sensor light switch
Color: White Size: 6 Pack
This is a good looking motion sensor wall switch I like the most. It does not need a neutral wire just like an ordinary switch. Although some of LED lights will flicker a bit, you can find out other LED lights that do not flicker. I think that if you buy motion sensor switch that requires a neutral wire, it may not flicker anymore. However, requiring a neutral wire is a hassle I think. There are more non flickering LED lights out there. I highly recommend that every garage should have one installed. ... show more

  • Comprehensive Review
This is a comprehensive review of the product. I purchased a 2 pack, one for the laundry room, and one for the pantry. Just for your information, this is not a smart switch. Packaging: Box is well packaged. Comes with all required items. Manual is also included with explanation on install steps as well as features and adjustments. Install: You will need a flat screw driver, and depending on your old switch, you will likely need a phillips screw driver as well, and a set of plyers will make your job easier. 1. Find your breaker box in your home, and cut the power to the current switch. (ie, Move the breaker switch away from the center) (VERY IMPORTANT TO DO THIS FOR YOUR SAFETY) 2. Unscrew and remove your old switch cover plate (usually flat screw driver). This will uncover the barebones of your old switch. 3. Unscrew the old switch (usually 2 phillips head screws) 4. Detach the 3 wires from your old switch (usually 2 black hot wires, and 1 green ground wire). This new switch does not require a WHITE common wire, thus this can be installed in probably any home. 5. Straighten your wire heads 6. Use the supplied marets (brown color) to screw together your ground to ground (green to green), and then hot to hot (black to black) x 2 7. Push all the wires back in and use the philips screw driver to mount your new switch 8. Apply the supplied cover wall plate using a flat screw driver 9. Go back to your breaker box and turn the power back on to the correct breaker for your switch (ie, move it back to the center) 10. DONE!!!! Features: The manual says to give the switch a few minutes to set itself after turning on the power. Once that is done, there are a few things you can adjust. Lighting Modes: You can adjust the settings to manual, occupancy mode, and vacancy mode so that gives you options to set the motion settings. Timer: This is where you can set the amount of time after no motion is detected that the light will stay on. The range is from 15 seconds to 30 minutes. Range: This is where you can adjust the range (in degrees) of how wide the detection range of the motion sensor is. This is an immediate review, and if I have any issues with this, I will come back to update the review. IF there are no changes to this, assume that it is working well. ... show more

  • Unreliable and Inconsistent Performance
Color: White Size: 6 Pack
TOPGREENER Motion Sensor Switch falls short. The lack of a neutral wire requirement can lead to inconsistent performance. The occupancy and vacancy modes are not always reliable, which can be frustrating. It's not the best choice for those seeking reliable home automation.
