I have been sleeping on a firm mattress because my husband loves firm, but I just couldn't get comfortable. This foam topper has been just the help I needed. I am now sleeping so comfortably. Because it is on a firm mattress, it is not TOO soft, but just right to sink into and support my body. It fluffed out quickly and there was no smell when unpacked. The straps to go under the mattress and keep it from slipping are a big help. I should add that we have a split king, which is how I was able to customize MY side of the bed without making my husband uncomfortable. The one thing I will say is that I don't find it cooling at all. Actually it is a little warm, but it is not a problem considering how well I sleep on it!

I got this for a full size bed and it is wonderful for those that like to sink into their beds. I would have given 5 stars except for there is no mattress attachment to keep it sliding off the mattress.

I ordered this BEDHOURS 3 Inch Cooling Queen Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper for a Queen air mattress that is pretty nice, except for the fact that sleeping on it for 5 nights in a row became uncomfortable due to the firmness. Letting some air out didn't do much for the comfort level, but did make my husband and I roll toward each other in the middle of the mattress. Once this topper was added, the comfort level went up 100%. Now, when we have company this fall for 2 weeks, we are confident that they will have a comfortable night's sleep. The topper came rolled up and compressed, but took no time at all to fluff back up. It doesn't weigh a ton, as I had imagined it would, so storing it and putting it away isn't a big deal. And, it didn't stink of foam when we opened it, so no time was needed for off-gassing. We are happy with it, and glad we ordered it.

I am sensitive to chemical smells, and was happy to find no discernible scent when I unpackaged this mattress topper. It fluffed up within a day, and we were ready to try it out. The non-slip bottom and corner straps keeps this topper from sliding around on the box spring. Our "nice & firm" (spouse's description) "hard as a rock" (my description) mattress is now comfortable for both of us. And this topper does provide a pleasantly cooling layer on which to sleep. This appears to be well made, so I am optimistic that this will prove to be a good investment.

BEDHOURS 3 Inch Cooling Queen Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper Is nicely made and it does not make us warm. I don’t know if it does make us cool but I do know for certain is does Not make us warm. Comfortable and soft on the skin. Love the cover that has a nice zipper to take off and wash. Our last topper made me too warm , it would even wake me up in the middle of the night. This topper is very comfortable. I like the elastic on every corner that goes under the corners of the bed and helps keep the topper from shifting. I’ve had my best sleep since I’ve started using this gel memory foam mattress topper. I give this 5 stars ++
