First, I don't mind purchasing a return, but it would have been nice to know I wasn't getting a new product as listed. The hose still had water it in from whoever previously used it. I had no instructions and had to look around online for them. Not all the functions listed work on the pump I got. Not sure if that's why it was returned, but seems likely. Essentially it pumped out the water and didn't disturb the fish, so at best it's just ok. ... show more

    • Great idea but not what I expected
I’ve had this item now for a couple of months now. The first number of times I used it it did wonders in helping the cleaning of my aquarium. It was either the 4th or 5th time that I’ve used it I noticed that it was no longer able to filter the water up through the pump. Finally by the 6-7th time, it just stopped working. I clean my aquarium weekly, and now do need to do so, because I raise fish and sell them. But now I’m be finding the old siphoning method the old try and true way, is where I’m back to cleaning my aquarium. The really like this item, and thought about how it would work before I purchased it and I liked the way it worked when I first purchased it. Just wish it would have lasted and I still had it to use. Great idea, but something just isn’t right. Possibly a little more work needs to be done on it’s construction? I really don’t know? ... show more

    • Easiest water change ever
Works Fantastic. Lots of power and attachments super easy to use. I have a 40 gallon and works great at least to do a 30-40% water change not more than that because motor needs to be submerged. Not good for smaller fish tanks, smallest one I would say 20g. Hope this helps!

Great for water changes but doesn’t seem to have the sucking power to clean. Seems the filter is possibly clogged and no way to change it.

The different attachments and power of this equipment are what I needed. I clean 3 different aquariums with this all different sizes.

Instructions were not clear or easy to understand. Suction was not strong, not a great product- I wouldn't recommend.

    • Does not work
I have a small 10 gallon. First a valve over the filter piece blew off and sprayed all over my living room. It took several times to see that there is a rubber piece that holds it in place. Finally got it to stay in place. Water all over our room. Nothing in manual or in other assembly page even spoke about the valve. Then as it pulls water and through pipe and into filter then into the tube it pulled water but not strong enough to pull fish food left in the rocks. Even as I pulled up from the rocks it wouldn’t not pull hard enough to remove debris in the water itself. The water was pulling from the bottom and coming through the exit tubes. It was pumping. But so weak. It really was worthless. We changed the filters to let it clean the completely clouded water. Would be decent in pulling water out to refill with water. But not to clean what is in there. But we wanted this to clean the rocks and the glass and keep the water in it. Let filter clean water. Don’t buy if you want to clean water/rocks/glass. Only if you just want to remove the water. ... show more
