I love this. It heats up quick. I don't have a TON of hair, so it's a quick process and a fun final result! I usually clip the "outer" portion of my hair out of the way while I do the underneath, then do the outer parts. This keeps everything from being the exact same wave and creates a bit more volume. Ill never curl my hair again. Lol. I love this wave iron. It creates mermaid waves. I have extensions and it didnt damage them after one use. But i would be cautious to use it daily if you wear extensions. Absolutely love it. Your hair gets a pretty vintage look and vintage is all my style. Highly recommend. ... show more

I’m not too crazy about it so far. I should start by saying my hair is extremely fine and straight. The beachy curl feature literally did nothing, I had it on medium because I didn’t want to fry my hair. This iron gets VERY hot. The other feature is a crimped look which is pretty but made my hair frizzy. I’ll keep trying the beach curl look, maybe I need some help from some product. ... show more

So I used this the other day and it did work as expected. I did think it made my hair smell burnt a little but I may have had it set too hot. I will try it again with the setting a little lower. Having said that I have no complaints. It was easy to use and the directions are easy.

Some folks here said they might not be using it right, but I don't think that's it. It's not a user-friendly product. The waver part simply doesn't work. You have to lock it closed then wrap sections of your hair around the large barrel. My hair just dropped down with no style. Then the crimper is a nightmare. The heat is too intense even on medium and when you press the crimper together, it feels like you're destroying your hair and it looks lame. ... show more

Love, love, love this waver! The last three hair tools I bought were a bust and are sitting in a drawer. I have always wanted that mermaid, wavy hair look but have never been able to master it. I watched one video on how to use it and these pics were the result. Super easy to use, it took 7 minutes to do my upper-back length fine hair at the low setting, 5-6 seconds per clamped section. The wave, curler's barrel is too big. My hair is chin length. Hair would have to be longer. Easier to accomplish waves with a regular curling iron.
