This is my favorite waver. I have bought 2. My first one, a dog ate the cord. I highly recommend this one. It is cheaper now than when I first bought it. A fun tool for those with longer and/or thicker hair. Takes a few tries to get the hang of - especially the back of the head, but the results are worth it - subtle beachy waves, or more dramatic retro glamour waves.     • Leaves Crease in Hair
The waver does a good job of creating beach waves but it does leave a crease in your hair where the iron clasps. The heat on the iron is good but there's no way to avoid having that crease line if you want defined waves. As for the "wand" part of the iron. I have no idea what kind of beach waves the description is talking about. I have long hair and the wand literally didn't nothing but leave a weird crease line where the two parts come together.     • Fun and easy hair tool
I love this. It heats up quick. I don't have a TON of hair, so it's a quick process and a fun final result! I usually clip the "outer" portion of my hair out of the way while I do the underneath, then do the outer parts. This keeps everything from being the exact same wave and creates a bit more volume. I would recommend using a heat protectant with this, as it is covering a lot of hair. I don't hold it clamped for more than a second or two. Nice soft waves that hold and hold! ... show more

Love, love, love this waver! The last three hair tools I bought were a bust and are sitting in a drawer. I have always wanted that mermaid, wavy hair look but have never been able to master it. I watched one video on how to use it and these pics were the result. Super easy to use, it took 7 minutes to do my upper-back length fine hair at the low setting, 5-6 seconds per clamped section.     • Heating plates not well shaped, makes waves look bad
I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 because the product does function well and seems good quality. However the waves it makes are terrible and awkward. It is not the pretty beach waves you want them to be. The plates are not a good shape for beach waves and it makes weird lines in your hair.
