Mobile phones have built in speaker phones, which are minimally ok for the occasional one on one quick phone call. An hour of trying to conduct business that way or any more than one person trying to share the phone for even a few seconds should quickly convince you that you need something better. This product is that “something better” and not just a little better, but a whole lot better. It’s a Bluetooth connected professional conference calling system in a portable package. The device is dead simple to use - charge it up, pair it with your phone, and start having MUCH better conference calls. The device figures out which direction a voice is coming from and adjusts it microphones to optimally pick up sound from that direction. The result of this is simply clear conference calls where everyone at the table can be heard clearly and without echo. The sound quality and volume coming from the device are great, facilitating much better communications than possible with just the speaker mode of a smart phone. Sound on the device is optimized for clear voice. There are better choices than this device for playing music, but none of those devices do voice calls as well as this can. As a product, this device is very fit for purpose, designed nicely and well-made. As a business tool, I’ve found this to be invaluable and highly recommend it. One last comment: I had occasion to ask the device manufacturer a question about their device. They provided an excellent and swift (overnight) response. I mention this because I personally value companies that stand behind their products and care about their customers. These guys are the real deal.

I picked this up after reading eMeet reviews and a YouTube search. This is worth the price point. Working remotely my laptop speaker and mic were not cutting it. This removes the need for two additional devices to supplement my poor laptop hardware. In my opinion it works just as well as the Jabra device in my work office. It plugs in via USB to charge as well as communicate if it stays plugged in. Bluetooth works well, but I personally rarely use it for work purposes. Quality is great and very clear. Does a good job of filtering out multiple voices/noises if you have a bunch of things going on. Hundred times better than my laptop hardware and I don't need to wear a headset. It comes with a basic how to on setting up the drivers or changing settings, but my laptop immediately recognized the device. It defaults to the device every time im joining a CC no matter the application (zoom, webex, Skype, etc...)Basically zero setup. A true plug and play. This was a perfect buy for working remotely.

The media could not be loaded. The Good: -Good microphone -Speaker is good for conference calls and music that is heavy on vocals -Easy to use -Small footprint -Good for travel -Long lasting battery -Comes with case -Good value The Bad: -Sounds distant if you’re too far away from the speakerphone (8 feet away) -Sometimes the buttons don’t activate when pushed The Bottom Line: I own both the Jabra Speak 710 and also the eMeet M2 speakerphone. I will get into my comparison later but the eMeet M2 is a solid speakerphone with a good microphone and speaker. It is very easy to pair with your phone or your computer (with the USB wireless dongle). In terms of performance, I’ve had calls with 4 people with no issues except when people are farther away (8 feet or more) from the speakerphone. They sounded faint to the caller when people were further from the speakerphone. The speaker itself is loud and clear and you can understand the caller easily through the speakerphone. In terms of using the speakerphone as a music player, it is good for music that is heavy on vocals but it basically has no bass. The battery is long lasting and easily lasts for the longest of conference calls. The design is portable and is easy to throw in your bag especially since it comes with a case. The only negatives that I ran into were the buttons sometimes did not activate when pressed. For example, sometimes I had trouble turning off the device because I was not pushing on the exact spot to activate the button. In comparing the Jabra Speak 710 vs the eMeet M2 speakerphone, the differences are slight but the Jabra Speak 710 does win out in terms of microphone. When people were farther away from the eMeet M2 (about 8 feet), they sounded much more faint than with the Jabra Speak 710. The other features are very similar in that the Jabra can also play music but there is no discernible bass. I also do like the Jabra design in terms of having the USB charge dongle attached to the device. Therefore I don’t have to worry about carrying the AC adapter and a micro USB cable. The Jabra firmware also is updateable through its app while the eMeet cannot be updated. Overall, the Jabra Speak 710 and the eMeet M2 are both great speakers phones. In terms of value, the eMeet M2 is the cheaper option so if your budget is lower, then you should pick the eMeet M2. If budget isn’t a factor, then you should check out the Jabra Speak 710.

I purchased this unit a couple months ago, we built a portable Skype station and wanted a Bluetooth conference speaker to eliminate the cavernous sound we were getting from the camera mic. At first I had trouble with it, low volume but that turned out to be an issue with the laptop we were using for a trial. We deployed an upgraded laptop that would be part of the permanent unit and it worked perfectly. The sound is very good and clear both transmitted and received, perfect for a conference room. I like the large 'Mute' button, this was an issue on my Jabra 510 - hard to find if you are trying to mute quickly. Battery time is excellent, Bluetooth connection occurs quickly, very easy to use. A little more volume than my Jabra 510, which I like and need. Overall I am very pleased with the eMeet unit.
