Turns out very well and does the job to protect my baby bumping her forehead to the table with some sharp edge. I had some similar guard from another product but ran out. Ordered this one thinking brown would be the same. But they are not exactly the same, this one is a little darker. For the purpose, it won’t really matter. From quality perspective, this one is softer and has lots of mark on one end (see last picture), but once again, as long as it does the work, I don’t think it matter. The tricky part is the tape, it’s hard to get the tape on both side straight. I learned the best way is to do small piece at a time and rotate the sides, see second picture. The last thing I don’t like is it has strong plastic smell. But it went away after I let it air outdoor for one night. Overall, happy with this.

The roll comes with a lot for the price. The corner pieces are great. The issue is the roll doesn’t come with the adhesive applied so that part was tricky. It also doesn’t stick as well to the stone as other products I’ve tried, but for the price it’s a great buy.

It was fairly easy to measure out and install, and flexible enough that you could be a tiny bit off and stretch or squeeze it so it looks good. Maybe my utility knife blade was starting to dull, but I think it would have been easier to cut with scissors. It’s not so big that it’s an eyesore, but it gives enough cushion that I’m not as worried about head injuries on the hearth. And the corner pieces are very convenient! So far, it seems to hold up to the kids sitting on and around it.

The adhesion is so bad we've re-done it twice in 3 months. My daughter (not even 1 year old) can peel it off. A great product overall but the adhesion is so bad!

Nothing to dislike about this item. I used it to for the backs of my swivel bar stools. The metal sides of the chairs would slam into the counter. I applied this to the edges. You can hardly tell it is there and if you do notice it, it looks like it was made a a handgrip. Arrived quickly, packaged nicely. Application was easy, looks great, and so far is wearing well. This product could have so many uses.

Originally bought this go on the brick around our fireplace. Saw many people say it would work on brick. Well unfortunately it does not. Cleaned the brick and put it on and it held the first day. Next morning it had all fallen off. I don't fault the manufacturer for that, but just want others to be aware of that. You could probably use some stronger adhesive and make it work though.

The media could not be loaded. This is my favorite foam liner yet, and I’ll tell you why. 😆 the adhesive comes in a roll, instead of strips like a lot of them, so it’s a lot easier to apply. Also, the oyster color has a warm tint to it (very subtle) so it matches my butcher block counter top perfect, where I applied the edge. I also have stark white walls and it blends perfectly with the paint as well. This came with a little foam cow holder in the center to wrap the excess edging around, which makes it easier to store. Really satisfied with this and from now on will be ordering from this company when I need more, or when my toddler’s injuries indicate a new place that would serve well to be child proofed 😂 The adhesion feels pretty solid so far, but I’ll update this review if my toddler starts ripping it all off. 😂
